Sayo

"Yeah. That was rather brave of them, and foolish too. They'd do a lot better in school if they didn't try to antagonize the teachers so much." Sayo said, giving a smile.

Reginald

"I am not interested in her in a sexual way, boy. I am merely curous about her. It isn't often one gets to teach a girl with no memory of her past, or who she really is." Reginald replied.

Jacob

"I guess not." Jacob replied, though he didn't believe Mr. Fau's answer.

Orion frowned, obviously frustrated with the teacher's attitude. He spoke, "What's there to know? She's a kind person and studies hard, though not as much as Sayo. She's innocent and we're both very protective of her."

Amy laughed and placed her hand on Sayo's shoulder.

"I can see why they choose you as a friend. Someone needs to keep them in line sometimes."

Zach listened to the conversation outside the door, by accident. She frowned, her eyebrows knitting together in frustration. Why did this guy want to know about Amy and why couldn't he just ask her herself? Amy would tell him anything, which wasn't always smart. But she wouldn't lie to the teacher.

Reginald Fau

"I see. Well, the both of you are free to go, then." Reginald said, giving them a dismissive wave. He walked over to his desk and began to grade the quizes.

Sayo

"Y-Yeah. It's a good thing Zach's there, too, to keep them both in line as well." Sayo agreed, blushing slightly at both her praise and contact with his shoulder. Well, at least Amy was so innocent that she wouldn't pick up on the signs he had a crush on her. Or at least, Sayo hoped she wouldn't.

Amy nodded and removed her hand from Sayo's shoulder. But looking at him, she had this sudden urge to hug him. As if she wouldn't be seeing him for some time. She didn't understand it, but she did it anyways.

"Thank you Sayo for letting me be your friend too," she whispered into his ear as she hugged him.

Sayo

"Y-You're welcome." Sayo said as he hugged Amy back, blushing even harder than before. He wasn't exactly sure why Amy was hugging him, but he didn't really mind. Besides, it kinda felt nice...

Jacob

".....What?" Jacob asked, extremely confused. "Ok then...." The boy bid farewell before quickly walking out of the room. "....******* creeper." Jacob muttered after he had walked out of the classroom.

"You read my mind, man," Orion agreed before smirking a little when he saw that Zach was rather close to the door.

"Listening in on other people's conversations, Zach? I think you've learned well from me and Jacob," he told her with a grin.

Jacob

"Well she had to eventually gain something from being friends with us. And at least Sayo will believe us when we tell him Fau is going to be stalking Amy. If he isn't already."

"Yeah. He's not going to be taking any chances when it comes to protecting her," Orion commented with a grin.

"I wasn't evarsdropping. I was just waiting for you guys," Zach protested. But then she frowned. "But you're right. There is something not right with that guy."

Amy closed her eyes, not wanting to pull away from the hug. But she did. She smiled again at Sayo.

"We better get to class."

Sayo

"Uh, right." Sayo said, a little sad once she pulled away from the hug. He quickly cleared his mind of those thoughts and walked with Amy toward their next class with Mrs. Barker.

"Hey, uh, Amy? Do you think we could uh...talk later, after school?" Sayo asked nervously. It was probably really risky, but Sayo at least wanted to try asking Amy out later, or at least just possibly revealing his feelings for her. It would probably be awkward (for him), but if he never took the chance, he'd regret it for the rest of his life.

"Sure," she told Sayo, entering the classroom. "It sounds like a plan."

"I'm still not convinced that he's not one of those freaky guys that upload child-porn on the internet," Orion told her with a shiver as he took her hand and led her away from the said creepy guy's classroom.

"Well whatever he wants with Amy we'll be sure to stop him," Zach said, her motherly protectiveness kicking in. "No one touches her without our permission."

Reginald Fau

Reginald stood up and went over to the classroom door, closing it. Once it was secured and locked, he hobbled back over to his desk. Mr. Fau took out his cell phone, and dialed a certain number.

"Yes, I have her DNA." Fau replied into the phone, holding up a strand of Amy's hair. "I shall send it to the Lab immediately. Hopefully with this, we can confirm her identity. Do not worry, I know what to do if we do confirm its her. I will not give her a chance to regain her memories, should she prove to be the One."

((So...any ideas what to do next?))

(Hmm... Men in black suits chasing after Amy and the others? That seems like a common trope in these situations.)

General Narrative

The bell for the end of the day finally rang, signaling the end of school. Finally, they could all go home (or in Jacob's unfortunate case, stay after school to pour out all his troubles to the school counselor.). Sayo was outside the building already, waiting for the others to come out now.

Jacob/Carla

"So.... We don't have to talk or anything, right?" Jacob asked as he leaned back into his seat, his eyes resting on the clock.

"Of course not. But sitting in awkward silence certainly wont be fun. Why don't we talk about something besides your life? Do you have any favorite shows or hobbies? How are your friends?" Carla asked as she tried to subtly manipulate Jacob into giving away as much about himself as possible.

"Man, I'd hate to be Jacob like now," Orion told Sayo with a grin as he exited the school building, "I hate it when counselors try to classify me."
