Princess Doubtful (Rated M/Accepting)

King Daniel

As King Daniel was about to speak, Prince Darrien finally walked in and took his seat at the large table. The King nodded slightly and spoke.

"Now we can eat."

After that sentence servants began to emerge from the kitchen and started to lay various foods all over the table for the people present to eat.

Teddie blushed as Darrien spoke, but calmed when he kissed her. Maybe she did love him, even if he wasn't sure. She was glad that he seemed to be happier now. And she was definitely looking forward to when he would come find her after dinner. She smiled to herself and went to tend to Sarina's room. The guilt returned to her as she entered. How would Sarina feel if she found out about her and Darrien?

Eri looked at her plate, but didn't touch it. She looked at Sarina criously to see if it was ok to start eating, playing with her napkin quietly as she waited.

Sarina began to eat. She didn't care if she should or not. Maybe if she was rude enough they would kick her out. That would solve some problems. She could take Eri and they could get jobs somewhere.

Yeah right. Like that was going to happen.

Eri dug into her plate hungrily after seeing her sister. Eri sure didn't get the best food working in the kitchen, so when she got to eat like a guest in the castle, it was definitely good.

"Ah Sarina you're so unlady like," Ryoit commented watching her eat. Sarina swallowed, looking away from him.

"I-I'm sorry. I was just hungry."

Darrien walked into the dining hall with a guard's head under his arm. He was keeping the guard in a choke hold and pulling him along as he walked in as though nothing was happening. He looked at his father and tossed the guard to the ground. "You can cancel the escort next time." he said, and nodded at the guard. He really had no grudge against the guard, but he felt he needed to assert himself in front of his family. He then paced over and took a seat beside Eri. He smiled, looking around the table. "So how is everyone this evening?" he asked, attempting to make conversation.

"Fine," Sarina muttered, looking down at her food.

Ryoit smirked. "I'm pretty good though I'd rather eat alone."

Sarina was obviously being difficult tonight, and Ryoit seemed to voice the opinions of everyone at the table. Darrien enjoyed having a generally hateful family. "Don't we all." he said, still smiling, and picked up his fork.

"You probably want to be eating a servant--I mean with a servant. Silly of me to leave that word out," Ryoit said glaring across the table.

Darrien glared back at his brother. "What a very convenient word to omit." he commented.

Eri felt as though she were shrinking in her chair, though she kept a very rigid upright position. She was uncomfortable on many fronts, the fact that Darrien was sitting next to her- even though he was probably one of the least threatening of the family- and the fact that Ryoit and Darrien were arguing.

Why do we have to be here, why do I have to be here, this is either really good or really bad, and so far, I'm heavily doubting the former

Sarina wanted to cover her ears to block out the noise but she decided against it. Instead she looked towards Rei.

"So how are you today Prince Rei? I haven't seen you around lately."

'Mainly because I was avoiding everyone.'

Ryoit grinned at Darrien.

"It's the truth though. Who haven't you slept with besides Eri and Sarina?"

Darrien grinned at Ryoit. He couldn't enter the realm of servant treatment on a high ground. "I'm not sure Ryoit, but I'd like you to tell me who in the palace you haven't beaten." he retorted. The answer was of course nobody. Darrien knew that he had hit every prince or princess at least once, and was confident he had once hit their father, and mother. A smack across the face from Ryoit had become some what of a harrowing among servants.

Darrien then noted Eri sitting beside him, becoming more and more nervous, and by the looks of it Sarina wasn't enjoying the argument either. "In any case, this is hardly a conversation for the table." he said, and then glanced over at Eri. "I'm sorry." he whispered.

Eri relaxed a bit.
"huh? oh, umm, it's fine." She said quietly.
Eri concentrated on a bit of wall acroos from her, which she found to be a somewhat effective technique to keep calm.

Rei

"Oh, I'm f-f-f-fine." Rei stuttered to Sarina. "I've been...busy lately."

Eri quickly finished the food, leaving her hungry for more, she was becoming thin and she had been hungry since she had gotten there. For now, though, the food satisfied her. She looked at her sister, not sure what she should do now.

((I hope this is okay, it's not much but I really enjoy this RP and don't want it to die.))

"Eri," Elli chided, with a cold smirk on her face. "It's not lady-like to eat so fast. Besides you might choke."

Sarina wanted to shoot a look at Elli, but she was too afraid of the Princess to do such a thing. So she turned her attention to Rei.

"That's too bad. Maybe we could spend time together soon? If your not too busy?"

Eri looked mortified. She thought she was going to scream. She looked down at her shoes quickly. She breathed deeply, and tried to calm down, then picked her head up. She kept telling herself Be brave, be brave, Eri, they won't do anything to you while Sarina is around and it kept her calmer than usual.

Scar

Scar waited for Sarina outside of the dining room, hoping that the meal would not take a toll on the princess or her sister. The royal family was an incredibly stressful bunch. And he would not take it well if any of them decided to wrong Sarina at all during this time.

Teddie

Teddie paced her quarters, trying not to think of the evening with Darrien. She wanted to figure out how she would hide this from the princess.

Already, three maids had warned her about the prince and his playing, heartbreaker tendencies. Which meant they all knew. How on earth did such things pass so quickly? She tried to settle down, as she looked at the time. There was time before Sarina would be out of dinner.

Right. She was having dinner with the princes and the king. She shuddered at the thought. How horrible would it be to spend so much time with all of them... Darrien. What if Darrien somehow slipped up and told them? That would be absolutely terrible... no, no, he wouldn't do something like that...

Eri looked at Sarina. She barely breathed the words "Can we go now, why do I have to be here?" She wasn't even sure her sister could hear her. Why was she so afraid all of the time? Well for one, there was the whole being held against her will here in this horrible madhouse they called a castle. But still, she had never been this shy before alll this, why should she change now? She would have to work on that.
