In the year 2764 the world is split into two major dictatorships, the Union of Humanity and the Common People's Empire. Both governments hold their entire population in check, the UH by hyponsis, and the CPE by total government control. The UH emphasizes the strengths of individuals, keeping them under control with hypnosis while still pushing them to their own limits, while the CPE emphasizes total equality, the same education and regime are assigned to every person within the country, slightly tweaked so they can perform jobs there were assigned to at birth.

In this time period, the two countries are at war, their militaries different but evenly matched, they have not reached any significant point in over ten years. The UG has modified it's soldiers in their DNA, mutating them to create super soldiers, while the CPE has created superweapons powered by each individual member of the military, and no other person can activate or use the weapon once it has been assigned to someone.

The war has left the landscape nothing but barren rock and orange skies, covered with dust. The rain is not safe to come into contact with, and it takes much to purify it. Nuclear radiation is the cause of this, and it has mutated the wild life, the only creatures left are deadly, whether it be the frightened herbivores that get by on the scattered vegetation with unique defense systems, or the frightening carnivores that attack anything that moves.

Now, things may shift a little, considering a significant developement has occurred, two people, one on both sides of the country, have had a near-death experience. They survived, but Death couldn't let go of them, and put part of his power into traveling with the two of them. No one else but the two of them can see or converse with him, and only time can tell what effect this developement will have on their lives, and the war itself.

Not to mention the CPE has developed a weapon of mass destruction that tops anything ever built before it. The UH has assembled a team to infiltrate the country and sabotage it, but the CPE has gotten word of it, and assembled it's own team to stop them. The problem is, the UH has hidden well in the country, it will take time to find them, and they could accomplish their mission before they're found.

Rules:

1. No godmodding, one liners, ect.
2. Cursing is going to be limited, but I'll allow some of it.
3. Questions are meant to be asked, so ask if you have one.
4. Let's keep blood and gore minimal, please.
5. Keep this rp PG-13 in general.
6. Decent post length please, I will kick people who post less than three lines twice.
7. You can have as many characters as you want, just keep tabs on them.
8. Use good grammar, if you have many grammar mistakes in a post, please go back and fix it, preferably before you post it at all. We all have bad days, one or two mistakes are fine occasionally.
9. Read the rules.
10. I reserve the right to add/modify rules.
11. If you want one of the people death follows, pm me and if they are available, we'll discuss their past.
12. One of the people death follows needs to be female. I'd prefer it if both were.
13. Death doesn't just take people whenever he feels like it, so he won't be randomly taking the souls out of people whose bodies aren't damaged.
14. And both the people touched by death are taken.

Appearance: He wears a sleek black jumpsuit covered up by a black jacket and black pants. He wears black running shoes, black hair that is a few inches long, and grey eyes.
Personality: James Cambridge is an intellectual, he is very familiar with people, strategies, and facts. However, he lacks experience that would make him the best of the best. He's usually in a good mood, unless there's bad news, then he gets angry and frustrated, lashing out at people.
History: James was smart child, and was usually top of his classes, and moved to advanced classes. When he was 11, an injury to his brain changed his life forever. The only way to save him was to mutate him, making his brain strong enough to heal, and inadvertantly giving him his psychic powers. He was taken out of school then and trained with the military to hone his new-found skills, and was brought into a special branch of the government that was not well known by anyone unauthorized to know. Their purpose is classified, but at age 25, James has been assigned to lead a special group of people from all over the military branches to find the ECP's wmd, and sabotage it.

Power/Weapon: A visor that allows him to see infrared, heat, x-ray, and can shoot out bursts of energy in either a wide range or focused blasts. This takes a toll on him if he uses it for too long consecutively.
Appearance: He has short, black hair with red highlights, a black undershirt with a black vest over it, and black pants. He wears big black boots, and has red eyes, from prolonged exposure to his weapon.
Personality: He's quiet, rarely speaks, and comes off as cold and bitter to those he is with. He dislikes himself greatly though, and will do anything for his comrades.
History: Tacit started out like most people do, he was raised in a normal family, healthy, though not exactly happy, as most people are in the CPE, and he was blonde and had blue eyes. His father and mother were both in the government, and were one day suspected of treason. There was no fair trial, and Tacit ended up an orphan at age seven. His mind started to betray him, going into bouts of insanity from time to time, until it was decided he was not fit for normal society. At age 11, he was removed to a military base, where he would be trained and hopefully helped, as they needed manpower and the child seemed a good source.

For a time, he did well, he seemed to gain control of his mind and did work well in the military, one of the youngest they'd ever had. Then, when he was 16, things turned bad, as a huge fit of insanity took hold of him, and on an important operation, he turned fire on his own team. When he came to, no one had survived, his visor had killed them all, they could not hide from it. He returned to the CPE to face his punishment, but they chose to sweep it all under the mat, and somehow his mind mended itself. No longer did he suffer insanity, he felt no uncertainty, but he refused to talk much, and his attitude became colder than it had been before.

The CPE has put him on dangerous missions now, hoping to get rid of him, but he's never failed since that one fateful mission. He's been put on a team to protect against the UH infiltration team.

Appearance: Picture here Shannon is 5' 6" and she weighs 111 lbs. Due to her military life she is muscular. She has to wear contacts or glasses due to bad vision and she also usually ties up her hair to keep it out of her eyes. Can usually be seen wearing Neutral or darker colors.
Personality: Shannon leans towards being an ESTJ type personality. She is very loyal to her soldiers, to the point of being willing to give up her own life for them if she thought it was necessary. She is also strict at first to her new soldiers but if she finds them satisfactory then they will find a kind friend and protector in Shannon. Unfortunately Shannon has also been suffering from a sort of restless depression inside, something no one else knows about.
History: Born in a military family of the CPE, it was expected of Shannon to either join the military or have many children when she was born. Shannon of course chose the former and joined the army at sixteen. She was the perfect soldier and she moved up the ranks enough for her to be allowed the choice of one of the elite soldiers weapons, which out of them she chose 'The Clock'.
She has spent her years doing her duty and taking care of her soldiers, but recently in some sort of mid-life crisis she's been questioning her life and her country. Her mother has been pressuring her to leave the army and get married, but Shannon has no intention of leaving the battlefield while the war is still going on even if she doesn't trust her country completely at the moment. She was put in charge of the CPE's mission to stop the UH team.
Other: She isn't very good at hand-to-hand combat but she is pretty skilled with a gun.

Power/Weapon: His lungs can miraculously adjust to the environment around him and so he can breath underwater, in most gasses and other situations most people could not. He can also hold his breath for up to twenty minutes if necessary.
Appearance:Here is a picture. Zayn is 5' 11", he weighs 180 pounds and has a lean, muscular body. He usually wears light and warmer colored clothing.
Personality: Zayn leans towards being an ESTP type personality. He is a bit of a flirt and a rebel, he also enjoys indulging himself. He has a bad temper, but he's learned to control it when he believes it could hinder his plans. He is also bi-sexual and enjoys disturbing his friends and soldiers with his actions.
History: He was born to a family of two, his mother was a popular actress who had just retired, and his Father was a high ranking member of the government. Zayn lived a particularly comfortable life in his parents private domed house.
In a form of rebelling against his mother Zayn joined the military and allowed the country to genetically modify him when he was fifteen.
Thanks to his fathers position Zayn was promoted to an officers position in under three months. This process became a part of Zayn's life until he was eventually promoted to the position of Captain when he was twenty.
Zayn then found out about the hypnosis that the government had been using to control it's subjects. Rather ticked off at the idea that his free will wasn't his free will, Zayn secretly tried to find a way to change the country in whatever way he could. Whether it be by becoming a high-ranking official, or revolution. So he stayed with the army(better to be hypnotised then to let UH win was his opinion.) and looked for people to work with, anything to get more information and to be useful. Eight months later Zayn did find a resistance force and he joined them.
Now Zayn is always busy, either doing missions for his country, or for the rebellion.
Other: He is trained in the martial arts of Bando, Iaidō and Kickboxing, along with regular hand-to-hand combat.

Gender: Male

Power/Weapon: Lightning Booster, a device used in the legs that permits the user to run at a high velocity(I try to imagine it as something like a sock, it goes up until the calf) and it's covered by Mark's boots. Only drawback, after 4 hours of non-stopping use the user’s leg gets tired and may have some injuries. And after 6 hours, the battery runs out, so it needs to be charged again. Fortunately, the device can gain full energy after being recharge for only 1 hour.
Appearance: Mark is 5’10 ft. tall, awfully skinny (but has abdominals and is stronger than what anybody who doesn’t know him might think), has dark brown spiky hair, tanned skin, and light brown eyes. He is usually seen wearing his black coat with a high collar, size 12 thick leather boots, black baggy pants and a red tight T-shirt.
Personality: Incredibly funny, loves to talk and hang with people, no matter their ranking. But when it comes to work, he is like the most serious man ever. Loves dancing, and when off-duty his occasional Mojito.
History: Mark’s father was simple soldier for the CPE for basically all his life. And that was the life destined for Mark. His father trained him and taught him to fight since little. He was taught to fight in many different ways, but he showed skilled with knives and he had some really good agility. At his school he used to be somewhat of a pickpocket, and with this he learned to be stealthy. Right after he got out of high school, at the age of 18, he joined the CPE’s army. Only within a few years he managed to crawl his way up to colonel (age 30) and became known. At the age of 22 he was offered a device that didn’t seem to be powerful, but Mark is also smart, and he managed to adjust his fighting style with the device and make the most out of it.
Other: He has a LOT of knives hidden in his body.

Alec, accepted, but let's not have too many people know about the UH hypnosis. The CPE soldiers could all be a little resentful of the government, but they would be part of the people that help spread fear through the country.

Name: Jaromir Conall
Age: 33
Gender: Male
Country: CPE
Weapon: The Screwdriver. A device that allows it's owner to open up, mess with, or break any mechanical object the device gets with in a ten foot radius of. Great for destroying other peoples weapons or vehicles, or even breaking into any facility guarded with an automatic or mechanical door.
Appearance: Picture here. 5' 10" weighs 197 lbs. Mostly muscle with a small gut. Black hair, blue eyes, light tanned skin. Usually wears long darker colored clothing.
Personality: Jaromir leans towards being an INTJ personality. He is a rather paranoid person and the only people he trusts are himself and Irene. Jaromir is also an environmentalist and is researching the affects the war is having on the world and how it could possibly be fixed.
History: Jaromir was born in CPE from a small torn family. His mother sold him to the country for a few hundred dollars and Jaromir was already beginning his military training at age seven. His teachers realized that Jaromir was a very intelligent young boy and so they decided that along with working for the military he should be trained until he was eighteen in medicine and advanced sciences as well. When he was put into the field he was sent as a doctor, scientist, and elite soldier. He collected samples from the earth and rain and determined that the world was dying, he brought it up to his superiors that the CPE should begin researching how to counteract these effects but he was told to concentrate on his job instead. So Jaromir decided to do the research on his own, but unfortunately was caught by the government and told to leave it alone, which he did, but only for the next three years until he was twenty-four.

Over the past few years Jaromir had been preparing to leave the army, he had moved all of the supplies into an old research labratory of a country now taken(and practically destroyed) by the CPE.
Jaromir went into the CPE military's files and begun researching other statistics, facts and information. He eventually found out where the seeds for planting were kept and how one grows different foods. Along with this information Jaromir looked up his family in a moment of loneliness and found out that his only living relatives lived in the Union of Humanity. By then he had made his decision and had stocked up all the materials he thought he would need to live on his own/ Knowing that he would be killed if he resigned, Jaromir faked his death on the battlefield and escaped to his labratory using the alias of Kenji Rover, an identity he had hidden into the governments database.

As soon as he arrived he began growing food in the building's green house area and he was back to his research on the environment, but he was rather lonely through it all. So when Jaromir was twenty-seven he went into the UH hidded to find his family, and after four months of searching while trying to hide under the Union's nose, he did. Of course the only member of his extended family who was actually excited and interesting in Jaromir was his second cousin Irene, who had had her memory wiped after she left the army. They got along for a month until the rest of Irene's family told Jaromir to leave, which he did, but with Irene because he told her that he could help her. Jaromir spent four months trying random experiments to help his cousin, and he then succeeded after almost accidentally killing her. He then helped her recover and then trained with her for exercise. Under his cousins suggestion Jaromir and her became bounty hunters where they captured the other criminals in the wastelands to collect their rewards from the armies, never actually going into the countries themselves so as to be careful.

Power: Teleportation. She can teleport wherever she needs to, but she has to concentrate and no exactly where she's going for it to work.
Appearance: Picture Here. 5' 6" weighs 109 lbs. and is very lean.
Personality: Irene leans towards being an ENTP type personality. She has a bad temper and she knows it but doesn't care. She is also very competitive and loves turning things into contests or jokes if she can.
History: Irene was born into a big and happy family. She was always praised for her bravery and skill and her family was sure she would do great things. Irene joined the army like most kids her age when she turned sixteen, but she only did it for the powers that would be given to her. Irene stayed with the army for three years until she decided not to rejoin after her tour was over. Irene's memory was then modified to forget her military training and she lived with her family as a common civilian.(Her families memories were also modified to never remember that she joined the army.) Unfortunately Irene kept having dreams of her old days in the war, something she kept to herself because she had no idea what they were.

When Irene met her cousin Jaromir she was thrilled and rather excited unlike the rest of her family, she saw it as an opportunity to learn more about the world and when Jaromir offered her the opportunity to live with him, especially when he told her that he could help her with her dreams and that gap of missing memory in her head. So she said yes and packed to leave the next day without telling her family. Irene then spent the next four months doing tests and experiments with Jaromir as she tried to figure out what was wrong with her. On the one-hundredth and twenty-ninth day Irene had a temper tantrum with Jaromir and told him that he just couldn't fix her memory because there was nothing to fix, she then accidentally teleported herself down a cliff where she fell twenty feet. She was then sent to rest in bed for the next month as her dreams continued, this time with Irene having the revelation that they must have been lost memories of her in the army.

She never regained her memory of her military training and the info she had been given as a soldier, but she did regain her mastery over her power with help from Jaromir.

Weapon: Technopath (can control electronics, but only when within fifteen feet of them)

Sora’s light red hair is cut short, falling to her chin. She keeps a blue clip stuck in the left side, to keep it from falling in her face. Her eyes are hazel and her skin is very tan. Around her neck she wears dog tags—both her own and her father’s. When not dressed in uniform, she can be found in the clothing shown in the picture up above (because I’m too lazy to describe it). She usually has a gun slung across her back.
Personality: Sora’s the quiet type, never spending a moment in idle chatter. She never focuses on the whole of something, but instead just on the portion she’s working on at the moment—because of this, she never worries about things, but instead just lets them happen. She doesn’t mind other people, but is the most comfortable when surrounded by electronics or gardens (as it reminds her of when she used to go camping, when it was still possible).
History: Sora’s favorite pastime when a child was to go camping with her family of three—herself, her mother, and her father. Her father was her role model, her idol. When he left her at the age of ten to join the military, she knew what she was going to do with her life.

At the age of sixteen, she got her wish to enter the military—after living through an accidental explosion when her and her friends were pulling stupid stunts. Her left arm was blown from her body, as well as the bottom half of her left leg. Not only did the military give her a mechanical arm and leg to replace what she had lost (with skin grafted back over it), but they grafted into her DNA the ability to manipulate electronics.

Seven years have passed since that day, and she is itching to see some real action.

Power: The ability to change his skin color to match his surroundings, basically the ability of a Chameleon. However if a sudden change in his surroundings occurs, without warning, then he can be seen for thirty seconds before his body automatically adjusts.
Appearance: Yamada has asainistic features, black hair, and blue eyes.
Personality: Yamada is cool and cold at his job, rarely blinking an eye when he kills. He never shows much emotion.
History: When he was five, Yamada was taken by the UH government, along with a dozen other kids from around his country. He and the other children were taken for an experiment, to see if a group of effective assassins could be made by taking young children and training them to become killers. All of the children, except Yamada and two others, did not survive the harsh training. At age fifteen, his training was complete and Yamada began to work for his government as both an enforcer and assassin. With his power, given to him during the training, Yamada was an ideal assassin. He rose through the ranks and eventually became second in command of the Assassin’s Corp. Due to his rank, Yamada can order and outrank most leading generals and admirals. He is of the Inner Circle of the government and because of that he is aware of knowledge unknown to most.

Yamada has been around many places, assassinating terrorist leaders, enemy commanders, people who ask too many questions, and many more types of people. Now Yamada has been assigned to the taskforce sent to retrieve and possibly destroy the new deadly weapon made by the CPE.

Weapon: The Cannon. This weapon fires a canister into the air (or wherever it is pointed) and a few seconds after the canister is launched it implodes. This implosion launches dozens of beams to the ground, which upon impact makes large explosions, wiping out anyone within its radius.
Appearance: Fei has short blonde hair, and beautiful features. However, her mixed eyes are what usually get people’s attention. The right eye is blue, while the left is green.
Personality: Fei often takes pleasure in each and every Union of Humanity soldier she kills. She never shows remorse or mercy to her prey. Around her allies, Fei is often a bit of a dark humorist.
History: For her entire young life Fei was raised in an orphanage. She has no idea who her parents were, or what happened to them. She doesn’t care much about her parents anymore. Because Fei was an orphan, she was never given a last name. At the age of seventeen Fei was drafted into the military, along with several other orphans from her town. She rose through the ranks over the years, mostly because of her effective weapon. Currently Fei is a Commander in her unit.

Power/Weapon: Lightning Booster, a device used in the legs that permits the user to run at a high velocity(I try to imagine it as something like a sock, it goes up until the calf) and it's covered by Mark's boots. Only drawback, after 4 hours of non-stopping use the user’s leg gets tired and may have some injuries. And after 6 hours, the battery runs out, so it needs to be charged again. Fortunately, the device can gain full energy after being recharge for only 1 hour.

Appearance: Mark is 5’10 ft. tall, awfully skinny (but has abdominals and is stronger than what anybody who doesn’t know him might think), has dark brown spiky hair, tanned skin, and light brown eyes. He is usually seen wearing his black coat with a high collar, size 12 thick leather boots, black baggy pants and a red tight T-shirt.

Personality: Incredibly funny, loves to talk and hang with people, no matter their ranking. But when it comes to work, he is like the most serious man ever. Loves dancing, and when off-duty his occasional Mojito.

History: Mark’s father was simple soldier for the CPE for basically all his life. And that was the life destined for Mark. His father trained him and taught him to fight since little. He was taught to fight in many different ways, but he showed skilled with knives and he had some really good agility. At his school he used to be somewhat of a pickpocket, and with this he learned to be stealthy. Right after he got out of high school, at the age of 18, he joined the CPE’s army. Only within a few years he managed to crawl his way up to colonel (age 30) and became known. At the age of 22 he was offered a device that didn’t seem to be powerful, but Mark is also smart, and he managed to adjust his fighting style with the device and make the most out of it.

Other: He has a LOT of knives hidden in his body.

Power/Weapon: A small glass eye that lets her see into another's mind by embedding itself in her forehead until it's no longer visible. Once using it she can twist around her opponent's mind until they have the illusion of feeling intense physical pain. The downside is she will be unable to open her eyes for a time after using it, depending on how long she used it. However long it is that she uses it, is how long her eyes will remain closed. Under normal cirumstances this wouldn't be much of a problem considering she knows exactly where her opponent is, and what they plan to do, even if they can work/think at all with the pain she's induced. But when fighting with multiple people, she is at a great disadvantage. Alice can only use the eye on two people at once, and more than one shortens her time using it to 2 hours at most, depending on how active she is with it. Solar-charged, so when she's not using it, it's usually fashioned somewhere on her person.
Appearance: Alice stands around 5'6 with slightly wavy, dark brunette hair that goes to just above the middle of her back. Her eyes are a peircing light blue, with a line of a darker shade of blue just around the iris, and somewhat silvery specks every here and there. Her skin is somewhat pale with a hint of a tan colour. Alice usually wears whatever's comfortable, usually in a darker range of colours, and always wearing her mother's wedding ring as a reminder that someone at one point in her life cared about her. She never really bothers to dress up special for anything, because she could really care less what the outside world thinks of her.
Personality: Alice is a strong individual, no matter what hits her she's always moving forward. Even if she is dying on the inside. She takes the pain and hides it in the deepest shadows of being, not letting it show in her exterior. She has a bit of a short-temper, and can be a little stubborn every once in awhile. To another she may seem indestructable, but when asked about her past, she tends to darken, go quiet, and fade into the background with her thoughts. And she never talks about it. She's a loyalist to the death, and has never thought to question her government.

Alice Monroe does tend to get close to people though. She trusts far too quickly, and would never think to imagine them doing anything to harm her. This is among her greatest faults. And has made her life the near Hell it is today. But sure enough, she's blind to see that. Or the majority of any of her faults. Alice isn't a quiet individual, nor a loud one either. It really depends on how she's feeling that particular day. She's a little dark, and a bit of a pessimist. And really a go with the flow type of person. She doesn't like making heavy choices, so she usually goes on gut-feeling and really just impulse.
History: Alice Monroe had led a normal life. Just like any average girl would. Nothing exciting ever happened, life was always just the way it had always been. Up until the day he joined the Rebellion. Uncle Frederick always had a sort of strange way about himself. Always quiet, and never speaking. Just watching life go by around him. As strange as he was, she never would have thought him to be the man he revealed to her family that night. That night he spoke of the Government. "Why should we have to go by their word?" says he, "We don't have to. There's another way." And he told stories of plans, underground tunnels, and murder. Riots, and violent acts of betrayal and of supposed 'Justice'. And of the sacrifices they would have to make. It was too much for Alice, the average girl with the average life. It couldn't be this way. Not for her. Why couldn't things just stay the same? Like they had always been. She couldn't keep quiet. She stood, and announced her refuse to be any part of it. And of her strong opinions against it. But apparently her family wasn't thinking on the same track she was. To her surprise, they turned a blind eye when Uncle Frederick threatened her life. She was either in with them, or under the floorboards. She lowered her head, and didn't speak the rest of that time.

Later that night, Alice attempted escape. She could tell people. She could stop it. She could forget about it. She could start over. But she sure as hell couldn't stay there. But she miscalculated her footing on the ledge of her house, slipped, and landed rather loudly in the bushes below. In what seemed like a mere instant to Alice the house came to life with confused voices, and soon exclamations of realization. She scrambled to her feet, it was time to run. She could hear them behind her. They had weapons. And they ran faster than her. She needed to lose them. It was this very point in her time that Alice would give her life to go back and change the decision she made. She made a break for the four-lane. Alice could lose them amongst the vehicles, and slip away into the darkness. That isn't what happened. Cars screeched, and semi-trucks wailed as everything went into chaos seemingly out of nowhere the moment she set foot on that black pavement. It happened so fast. Red lights flamed angrily against the darkness of the night, screams cut through the silence. Horns sounded off in every direction. A crash. And everything went away.

When she opened her eyes, she was in a car. It was raining outside heavily. The driver told her that her family was dead. And she was being placed into another's care. The only thing left to remember her old family by was the bandage wrapped tightly around her head. Apparently she had been in the hospital for a couple of days. Though Alice can't recall her stay there at all. The driver seemed a little confused with her. Apparently she had already been told of her family's dreadful end before him. Odd. She supposed her mind blocked it out, and left things at that.

The foster family didn't really seem to like her all that much. She was always just out of the picture. Those days were spent in silence, and in thought. The moment she knew she could, Alice left for the military. She had nothing to leave behind, save her past. She has nothing to say of her foster family. She had never really belonged.

Janette seemed nice enough. She was the only living creature there that would talk to her like she was a human being. Everyone else either yelled or glared at her. What could you expect? The two drew close friends over the months. After making it through all the regulation boot camps, Alice and Janette ended up being assigned the same squad, and were shipped off to battle after battle. They always had each other's back. Just when everything was going smooth again, yet another close one turned against her. They were supposed to set off that atomic bomb. Well, their bomb technician was supposed to. Only he had lost his legs to the rage of battle. He needed Janette and Alice to set off the atomic bomb meant to wipe out a large camp of the enemy's for him. A very, very large camp. Turns out that attack on the bomb technician wasn't just another happening on the battlefield. It had been planned. Everything had been planned.

Janette would set it off on the enemy, Alice would guard the door incase an enemy soldier attempted to stop them. And then Janette said something. It didn't really sink in until an unusual and nearly sickening grin peeled over the once kind-hearted Janette's face. What she had said before that had confused Alice to the point where she grew distracted, and in an instant, Janette had her at gun point. One twitch, and she'd blow Alice's brains out. She began cutting out wires, all the while telling Alice who exactly she was, and just how oblivious Alice had been. Alice couldn't hear her. She couldn't believe someone she had put so much trust into could be...A terrorist. Not Janette. Her only friend, was ready to blow herself and Alice to smithereens along with the many others that were probably fighting the raging battle outside. Completely unaware they were all about to die.

And Alice couldn't bring herself past her fears long enough to stop Janette from cutting that last wire. Part of her didn't want to stop Janette. What had she to live for anymore anyhow? The massive explosion broke out just then. And Alice welcomed her fate faster than an average girl would. Finally, something to take it all away. Why she couldn't have died just then? Alice asks herself this every morning when she stares into that cold bathroom mirror, and a strong but broken woman that should have died that day stares back at her. Sometimes it takes her a moment to remember: It's her own reflection looking back into her soul.

She had woken up in a hospital. Alice was told she had been sleeping for two weeks now. When she first awoke, she could have sworn that lovely white ceiling was Heaven, but then she remembered that this was impossible because she was probably going to Hell. The doctors mumbled back and forth, and a few people came in and asked her questions. No one could believe she was still alive. Not even herself. She should've died. She was supposed to die. Something went wrong. Story of her life.

Appearance: Dorothy has long red hair, and average features for a girl. She keeps on her person the cross necklace Duo had given her at one time. She keeps it to remind herself of the betrayal, and what she must do.
Personality: While Dorothy has tried to correct it time and time again, she can easily form bonds with others, and can become greatly devastated when her friends die. She has tried to distance herself from others to prevent any more pain in her life. As a commander, Dorothy is a strict person. Because of recent events, Dorothy is somewhat unstable.

Dorothy refused. She was a loyalist through and through. However, her mother wasn’t as loyal as her, it soon turned out. She was soon faced with either joining them, or being put into a grave. Dorothy accepted. But, she had other plans, unknown to her parents.

Later that night, Dorothy attempted escape. She could tell people. She would not betray her country. Then the raids began.

Most of her life, the area of her country she lived in was always a battleground. The Common People’s Empire was always trying to advance through the city, but had been stopped by the UH so far. Every now and then the CPE sent planes to raid the town, try to destroy military installations. Then they would follow up with a land attack if they destroyed something important.

All Dorothy remembered then was the scream of an engine, and a flash of light. When she awoke, her home was destroyed. All that remained of her parents was the arm of her mother. Before she could process this she was found and picked up by Unionist soldiers. The CPE had struck the barracks and the airfield, and were now invading. The UH needed to evacuate the town, and retreat. A week later she was put into a foster home.

The foster family didn't really seem to like her all that much. She was always just out of the picture. Those days were spent in silence, and in thought. The moment she knew she could, Dorothy left for the military. She had nothing to leave behind, save her past. She has nothing to say of her foster family. She had never really belonged.

While in the military, Dorothy fell in love. His name was Duo Alucard. They went through training together, and by the time they graduated they had fallen in love. They were put into the same unit, with Duo as their squad leader. They fought together, side-by-side, taking down as many CPEs as they could. For Dorothy, it couldn’t have been any better.

During a battle, a nuclear bomb was supposed to be dropped upon the oncoming enemy reinforcements. The unit assigned to protect the man to fire it was killed mysteriously. Duo’s squad was called in at the last minute to protect the man. They retreated from the battlefield and went to do their work. They split up, half the squad going to patrol the hallways of the base. The other four would stay together in the room with the man.

In an instant, it all changed. Everyone but Duo fell to the floor, a horrible and destructive noise filling the air. Duo whipped out his gun and shot the other two teammates in the head, and then killed the man to set off the bomb. The noise stopped, and Dorothy got back up. She demanded an explanation.

Duo revealed he was a spy sent by the CPE. His current assignment was to set off the bomb here, to destroy the coming reinforcements sent by the UH. Duo said he did not want to kill her, however. He truly loved her, and wanted her to join him. To ran away together to the CPE after this was all over.

Dorothy was conflicted. On the one hand, she loved Duo. On the other, he was a spy who killed her comrades, men who had been like brothers to her. What was she to do? After a moment, she made her decision. Something within her told her that the Union was more important than Duo. That he had betrayed her, and needed to pay. She raised the gun at him.

The other squad mates came into the room, to investigate the shots. The noise filled the air again and Duo began to execute the others. Dorothy fell to the ground in pain, and accidentally pulled the trigger on her gun. A bullet was sent forward toward the nuke. Duo’s screams of horror were the last things she heard.

The bomb exploded, killing them all. At least, it should have. But at the moment of death, Dorothy resisted. She didn’t want to die. She didn’t want to die yet. In that moment, she decided that she wanted revenge on Duo. Revenge for betraying everything she believed in, for killing her comrades. Dorothy wanted justice in that moment.

Then, she woke up in a hospital. The doctors had no idea how, but she had survived the blast. Dorothy was informed no one else had survived. Including Duo. Now, an unstable woman is what is left of Dorothy. She is both angry and sad at the fact her love and friends are dead. Every fiber of her being had wanted to seek justice for what Duo had done. Now, she has taken a vow. Dorothy vows to kill each and every CPE soldier and citizen she can, until her dying breath. Only then, does she think that true justice can be accomplished for her.

Weapon: The Screwdriver. A device that allows it's owner to open up, mess with, or break any mechanical object the device gets with in a ten foot radius of. Great for destroying other peoples weapons or vehicles, or even breaking into any facility guarded with an automatic or mechanical door.
Appearance: Picture here. 5' 10" weighs 197 lbs. Mostly muscle with a small gut. Black hair, blue eyes, light tanned skin. Usually wears long darker colored clothing.
Personality: Jaromir leans towards being an INTJ personality. He is a rather paranoid person and the only people he trusts are himself and Irene. Jaromir is also an environmentalist and is researching the affects the war is having on the world and how it could possibly be fixed.
History: Jaromir was born in CPE from a small torn family. His mother sold him to the country for a few hundred dollars and Jaromir was already beginning his military training at age seven. His teachers realized that Jaromir was a very intelligent young boy and so they decided that along with working for the military he should be trained until he was eighteen in medicine and advanced sciences as well. When he was put into the field he was sent as a doctor, scientist, and elite soldier. He collected samples from the earth and rain and determined that the world was dying, he brought it up to his superiors that the CPE should begin researching how to counteract these effects but he was told to concentrate on his job instead. So Jaromir decided to do the research on his own, but unfortunately was caught by the government and told to leave it alone, which he did, but only for the next three years until he was twenty-four.

Over the past few years Jaromir had been preparing to leave the army, he had moved all of the supplies into an old research labratory of a country now taken(and practically destroyed) by the CPE.
Jaromir went into the CPE military's files and begun researching other statistics, facts and information. He eventually found out where the seeds for planting were kept and how one grows different foods. Along with this information Jaromir looked up his family in a moment of loneliness and found out that his only living relatives lived in the Union of Humanity. By then he had made his decision and had stocked up all the materials he thought he would need to live on his own/ Knowing that he would be killed if he resigned, Jaromir faked his death on the battlefield and escaped to his labratory using the alias of Kenji Rover, an identity he had hidden into the governments database.

As soon as he arrived he began growing food in the building's green house area and he was back to his research on the environment, but he was rather lonely through it all. So when Jaromir was twenty-seven he went into the UH hidded to find his family, and after four months of searching while trying to hide under the Union's nose, he did. Of course the only member of his extended family who was actually excited and interesting in Jaromir was his second cousin Irene, who had had her memory wiped after she left the army. They got along for a month until the rest of Irene's family told Jaromir to leave, which he did, but with Irene because he told her that he could help her. Jaromir spent four months trying random experiments to help his cousin, and he then succeeded after almost accidentally killing her. He then helped her recover and then trained with her for exercise. Under his cousins suggestion Jaromir and her became bounty hunters where they captured the other criminals in the wastelands to collect their rewards from the armies, never actually going into the countries themselves so as to be careful.

Power: Teleportation. She can teleport wherever she needs to, but she has to concentrate and no exactly where she's going for it to work.
Appearance: Picture Here. 5' 6" weighs 109 lbs. and is very lean.
Personality: Irene leans towards being an ENTP type personality. She has a bad temper and she knows it but doesn't care. She is also very competitive and loves turning things into contests or jokes if she can.
History: Irene was born into a big and happy family. She was always praised for her bravery and skill and her family was sure she would do great things. Irene joined the army like most kids her age when she turned sixteen, but she only did it for the powers that would be given to her. Irene stayed with the army for three years until she decided not to rejoin after her tour was over. Irene's memory was then modified to forget her military training and she lived with her family as a common civilian.(Her families memories were also modified to never remember that she joined the army.) Unfortunately Irene kept having dreams of her old days in the war, something she kept to herself because she had no idea what they were.

When Irene met her cousin Jaromir she was thrilled and rather excited unlike the rest of her family, she saw it as an opportunity to learn more about the world and when Jaromir offered her the opportunity to live with him, especially when he told her that he could help her with her dreams and that gap of missing memory in her head. So she said yes and packed to leave the next day without telling her family. Irene then spent the next four months doing tests and experiments with Jaromir as she tried to figure out what was wrong with her. On the one-hundredth and twenty-ninth day Irene had a temper tantrum with Jaromir and told him that he just couldn't fix her memory because there was nothing to fix, she then accidentally teleported herself down a cliff where she fell twenty feet. She was then sent to rest in bed for the next month as her dreams continued, this time with Irene having the revelation that they must have been lost memories of her in the army.

She never regained her memory of her military training and the info she had been given as a soldier, but she did regain her mastery over her power with help from Jaromir.

There are a few problems. First, Jaromir does actually need a superweapon of some sort... unless you put in the military took it back after he left.

Second, the militaries, if even allowing them to leave, would erase their memories of their service, and it would be highly imporbable to live in an enemy country unless they had an alias.

Power/Weapon: NI-4X (Aka Vandal). The NI-4X is an advanced neural interface unit designed for usage by combat engineers of the CPE. Connected directly to the user’s spinal cord, the NI-4X sports four servitor arms. Each of these arms can function like an extension of the user’s body or can be guided by a small semi-sentient AI built directly into the model. One of the model’s servitor arms functions as a normal arm would, in addition to this there’s the MultiTool arm which can adapt to various mechanical roles by attaching different “heads” which are stored within a small compartment built into the model. The third arm is a flashlight with three tiny fingers attached, the flashlight folds back into the “palm” of the hand and the fingers are used for delicate electronic repair work. The fourth and final arm is the demolitions arm, used to create explosives of all types. The demolitions arm attaches directly to a small chemical lab that produces its various compounds. Lanja’s NI-4X is called Vandal due to the AI’s penchant for destroying things when Lanja is not in control. Against regulations Lanja has adorned her model with the fearsome visage of a shark, in a silent tribute to her ancestry. Additional Info: There have been reported cases of misuse for enemy extermination.
Appearance: She is a giant of a woman, coming in at a towering 6’2”. Her dark tan never fades, seeing as its her natural skin color. The left side of her face is covered by tribal tattoos that extend down her neck, her right arm and hand is also covered in tribal tattoos, along with her left leg. A multitude of scars crisscross her body, the most notable perhaps being the one that slashes across her belly, for her childhood and career. Adorning her face are several bone piercings, one spike rests just below her lower lip, another pierces the bridge of her nose, and two are located in the cartilage of her right ear. The only other “accessory” she wears is her dog tags. A rather large gash slashes across her right cheek, and it is covered by a bandage that is much too small for the wound. Her brown hair is dreadlocked and worn in a ponytail. Her dreadlocks are decorated with metal and bone beads, and a single, carefully carved bone is woven into her hair. Her eyes are dark brown. She wears standard issue CPE military garb. Her armor is relatively light compared to the standard soldier, consisting of a light vest(tis the future equivalent of Kevlar), knee and elbow pads. She is constantly wearing a pair of fingerless gloves and always has a pair of goggles hanging around her neck.
Personality: Lanja is…well, she’s a tad reckless. She tends to dive head first into situations, regardless of the consequences. She’s always been the instigator of the two, and she’s got a knack for getting her brother to do what she wants. While she tends to get into tight spots, she somehow always manages to come out mostly unscathed. Despite her nature, if you’re looking for solid back up in a fire fight, she’s the one to turn to.
History: Lanja was the first twin, born a mere six seconds before her brother. She was born and raised on a decent sized island under the CPE control. Growing up, she and her brother were nigh inseparable, doing anything and everything together. They were often described as a pair of hell raisers by the folk of their home, though everyone knew it was really Lanja that started all the trouble, Agnor just tended to tag along. Being the more reckless of the two, she often was responsible for getting Angor into trouble, hurt, or both. The Grodani twins were assigned to the military tract of life. Power/Weapon: NI-4L (Aka Butterfingers). The NI-4L is an advanced neural interface unit designed for usage by combat medics of the CPE. Connected directly to the user’s spinal cord, the NI-4L sports four servitor arms. Each of these arms can function like an extension of the user’s body or can be guided by a small semi-sentient AI built directly into the model. Two of the model’s servitor arms function as normal arms would, in addition to these there’s the MediTool arm which can adapt to various medical roles by attaching different “heads” which are stored within a small compartment built into the model. The final arm is the syringe arm, which is used to give medication and take tissue samples. The syringe arm attaches to a small chemical lab that produces its various medicines. Agnor’s NI-4L is called Butterfingers due to the AI’s terrible coordination when Agnor is not in control. Against regulations Agnor has covered his model in the tribal markings of his heritage. Additional Info: There have been reported cases of misuse for enemy extermination.
Appearance: Agnor towers over the average person, standing at a whopping 6’4”. His dark tan never fades, seeing as its his natural skin color. He is covered from head to toe with tribal tattoos dating back to his warrior ancestry. To add to his already fearsome visage he has several bone piercings, two spikes pierce his eyebrows (one each), a spike sits just below his lower lip, and finally his belly button also bares a large spike. The only other “accessory” that he wears is his dog tags. A rather noticeable scar runs down the center of his left knee and he is missing his right index finger. His brown hair is worn in a tri-hawk (its basically three short mohawks that come together in the back). His eyes are a dark brown. He wears standard issue CPE military garb. His armor is relatively light compared to the standard soldier, consisting of a light vest(tis the future equivalent of Kevlar), shoulder pads, and a knee pad on his left knee. His armor is adorned with warrior designs, and his knee pad has the emblem of a shark on it.
Personality: Agnor is the more cautious of the two, he’s more likely to plan something out trying to work in as many details as he can about what can possibly go wrong, variables, etc. More often than not he will assess the situation instead of charging in headfirst. However, he appears to be easily manipulated by his twin sister. When push comes to shove Agnor is the one you turn to get your butt out of the fire.
History: Agnor was the second twin, born a mere six seconds after his sister. He was born and raised on a decent sized island under the CPE control. Growing up, he and his sister were nigh inseparable, doing anything and everything together. They were often described as a pair of hell raisers by the folk of their home, though everyone knew it was really Lanja that started all the trouble, Agnor just tended to tag along. Being the more cautious of the two, he often kept Lanja from making serious mistakes or getting in too deep. The Grodani twins were assigned to the military tract of life. Appearance: He looks faded and dark, hard to see, but wears a gray cloak over him, keeping his body from view. His skin is grey-ish. He doesn't have a physical form, nothing can touch him unless he possesses something.
Personality: He doesn't really talk to anyone, he doesn't show much emotion, it's just like he's there.
History: Phantas is one of the military's top secret projects, using experimental methods to upgrade human life. They hypnotized him to be nothing but obedient, and tried to remove his soul from his body. It worked, and they have a full fledged ghost on their side. The only problem is the effects aren't as great as hypothesized, he can't possess other humans. And as far as he knows, he can't die.

Sora’s light red hair is cut short, falling to her chin. She keeps a blue clip stuck in the left side, to keep it from falling in her face. Her eyes are hazel and her skin is very tan. Around her neck she wears dog tags—both her own and her father’s. When not dressed in uniform, she can be found in the clothing shown in the picture up above (because I’m too lazy to describe it). She usually has a gun slung across her back.

Personality: Sora’s the quiet type, never spending a moment in idle chatter. She never focuses on the whole of something, but instead just on the portion she’s working on at the moment—because of this, she never worries about things, but instead just lets them happen. She doesn’t mind other people, but is the most comfortable when surrounded by electronics or gardens (as it reminds her of when she used to go camping, when it was still possible).

History: Sora’s favorite pastime when a child was to go camping with her family of three—herself, her mother, and her father. Her father was her role model, her idol. When he left her at the age of ten to join the military, she knew what she was going to do with her life.

At the age of sixteen, she got her wish to enter the military—after living through an accidental explosion when her and her friends were pulling stupid stunts. Her left arm was blown from her body, as well as the bottom half of her left leg. Not only did the military give her a mechanical arm and leg to replace what she had lost (with skin grafted back over it), but they grafted into her DNA the ability to manipulate electronics.

Seven years have passed since that day, and she is itching to see some real action.

Power: The ability to change his skin color to match his surroundings, basically the ability of a Chameleon. However if a sudden change in his surroundings occurs, without warning, then he can be seen for thirty seconds before his body automatically adjusts.
Appearance: Yamada has asainistic features, black hair, and blue eyes.
Personality: Yamada is cool and cold at his job, rarely blinking an eye when he kills. He never shows much emotion.
History: When he was five, Yamada was taken by the UH government, along with a dozen other kids from around his country. He and the other children were taken for an experiment, to see if a group of effective assassins could be made by taking young children and training them to become killers. All of the children, except Yamada and two others, did not survive the harsh training. At age fifteen, his training was complete and Yamada began to work for his government as both an enforcer and assassin. With his power, given to him during the training, Yamada was an ideal assassin. He rose through the ranks and eventually became second in command of the Assassin’s Corp. Due to his rank, Yamada can order and outrank most leading generals and admirals. He is of the Inner Circle of the government and because of that he is aware of knowledge unknown to most.

Yamada has been around many places, assassinating terrorist leaders, enemy commanders, people who ask too many questions, and many more types of people. Now Yamada has been assigned to the taskforce sent to retrieve and possibly destroy the new deadly weapon made by the CPE.

Weapon: The Cannon. This weapon fires a canister into the air (or wherever it is pointed) and a few seconds after the canister is launched it implodes. This implosion launches dozens of beams to the ground, which upon impact makes large explosions, wiping out anyone within its radius.
Appearance: Fei has short blonde hair, and beautiful features. However, her mixed eyes are what usually get people’s attention. The right eye is blue, while the left is green.
Personality: Fei often takes pleasure in each and every Union of Humanity soldier she kills. She never shows remorse or mercy to her prey. Around her allies, Fei is often a bit of a dark humorist.
History: For her entire young life Fei was raised in an orphanage. She has no idea who her parents were, or what happened to them. She doesn’t care much about her parents anymore. Because Fei was an orphan, she was never given a last name. At the age of seventeen Fei was drafted into the military, along with several other orphans from her town. She rose through the ranks over the years, mostly because of her effective weapon. Currently Fei is a Commander in her unit.

Power/Weapon: A small glass eye that lets her see into another's mind by embedding itself in her forehead until it's no longer visible. Once using it she can twist around her opponent's mind until they have the illusion of feeling intense physical pain. The downside is she will be unable to open her eyes for a time after using it, depending on how long she used it. However long it is that she uses it, is how long her eyes will remain closed. Under normal cirumstances this wouldn't be much of a problem considering she knows exactly where her opponent is, and what they plan to do, even if they can work/think at all with the pain she's induced. But when fighting with multiple people, she is at a great disadvantage. Alice can only use the eye on two people at once, and more than one shortens her time using it to 2 hours at most, depending on how active she is with it. Solar-charged, so when she's not using it, it's usually fashioned somewhere on her person.

Appearance: Alice stands around 5'6 with slightly wavy, dark brunette hair that goes to just above the middle of her back. Her eyes are a peircing light blue, with a line of a darker shade of blue just around the iris, and somewhat silvery specks every here and there. Her skin is somewhat pale with a hint of a tan colour. Alice usually wears whatever's comfortable, usually in a darker range of colours, and always wearing her mother's wedding ring as a reminder that someone at one point in her life cared about her. She never really bothers to dress up special for anything, because she could really care less what the outside world thinks of her.

Personality: Alice is a strong individual, no matter what hits her she's always moving forward. Even if she is dying on the inside. She takes the pain and hides it in the deepest shadows of being, not letting it show in her exterior. She has a bit of a short-temper, and can be a little stubborn every once in awhile. To another she may seem indestructable, but when asked about her past, she tends to darken, go quiet, and fade into the background with her thoughts. And she never talks about it. She's a loyalist to the death, and has never thought to question her government.

Alice Monroe does tend to get close to people though. She trusts far too quickly, and would never think to imagine them doing anything to harm her. This is among her greatest faults. And has made her life the near Hell it is today. But sure enough, she's blind to see that. Or the majority of any of her faults. Alice isn't a quiet individual, nor a loud one either. It really depends on how she's feeling that particular day. She's a little dark, and a bit of a pessimist. And really a go with the flow type of person. She doesn't like making heavy choices, so she usually goes on gut-feeling and really just impulse.

History: Alice Monroe had led a normal life. Just like any average girl would. Nothing exciting ever happened, life was always just the way it had always been. Up until the day he joined the Rebellion. Uncle Frederick always had a sort of strange way about himself. Always quiet, and never speaking. Just watching life go by around him. As strange as he was, she never would have thought him to be the man he revealed to her family that night. That night he spoke of the Government. "Why should we have to go by their word?" says he, "We don't have to. There's another way." And he told stories of plans, underground tunnels, and murder. Riots, and violent acts of betrayal and of supposed 'Justice'. And of the sacrifices they would have to make. It was too much for Alice, the average girl with the average life. It couldn't be this way. Not for her. Why couldn't things just stay the same? Like they had always been. She couldn't keep quiet. She stood, and announced her refuse to be any part of it. And of her strong opinions against it. But apparently her family wasn't thinking on the same track she was. To her surprise, they turned a blind eye when Uncle Frederick threatened her life. She was either in with them, or under the floorboards. She lowered her head, and didn't speak the rest of that time.

Later that night, Alice attempted escape. She could tell people. She could stop it. She could forget about it. She could start over. But she sure as hell couldn't stay there. But she miscalculated her footing on the ledge of her house, slipped, and landed rather loudly in the bushes below. In what seemed like a mere instant to Alice the house came to life with confused voices, and soon exclamations of realization. She scrambled to her feet, it was time to run. She could hear them behind her. They had weapons. And they ran faster than her. She needed to lose them. It was this very point in her time that Alice would give her life to go back and change the decision she made. She made a break for the four-lane. Alice could lose them amongst the vehicles, and slip away into the darkness. That isn't what happened. Cars screeched, and semi-trucks wailed as everything went into chaos seemingly out of nowhere the moment she set foot on that black pavement. It happened so fast. Red lights flamed angrily against the darkness of the night, screams cut through the silence. Horns sounded off in every direction. A crash. And everything went away.

When she opened her eyes, she was in a car. It was raining outside heavily. The driver told her that her family was dead. And she was being placed into another's care. The only thing left to remember her old family by was the bandage wrapped tightly around her head. Apparently she had been in the hospital for a couple of days. Though Alice can't recall her stay there at all. The driver seemed a little confused with her. Apparently she had already been told of her family's dreadful end before him. Odd. She supposed her mind blocked it out, and left things at that.

The foster family didn't really seem to like her all that much. She was always just out of the picture. Those days were spent in silence, and in thought. The moment she knew she could, Alice left for the military. She had nothing to leave behind, save her past. She has nothing to say of her foster family. She had never really belonged.

Janette seemed nice enough. She was the only living creature there that would talk to her like she was a human being. Everyone else either yelled or glared at her. What could you expect? The two drew close friends over the months. After making it through all the regulation boot camps, Alice and Janette ended up being assigned the same squad, and were shipped off to battle after battle. They always had each other's back. Just when everything was going smooth again, yet another close one turned against her. They were supposed to set off that atomic bomb. Well, their bomb technician was supposed to. Only he had lost his legs to the rage of battle. He needed Janette and Alice to set off the atomic bomb meant to wipe out a large camp of the enemy's for him. A very, very large camp. Turns out that attack on the bomb technician wasn't just another happening on the battlefield. It had been planned. Everything had been planned.

Janette would set it off on the enemy, Alice would guard the door incase an enemy soldier attempted to stop them. And then Janette said something. It didn't really sink in until an unusual and nearly sickening grin peeled over the once kind-hearted Janette's face. What she had said before that had confused Alice to the point where she grew distracted, and in an instant, Janette had her at gun point. One twitch, and she'd blow Alice's brains out. She began cutting out wires, all the while telling Alice who exactly she was, and just how oblivious Alice had been. Alice couldn't hear her. She couldn't believe someone she had put so much trust into could be...A terrorist. Not Janette. Her only friend, was ready to blow herself and Alice to smithereens along with the many others that were probably fighting the raging battle outside. Completely unaware they were all about to die.

And Alice couldn't bring herself past her fears long enough to stop Janette from cutting that last wire. Part of her didn't want to stop Janette. What had she to live for anymore anyhow? The massive explosion broke out just then. And Alice welcomed her fate faster than an average girl would. Finally, something to take it all away. Why she couldn't have died just then? Alice asks herself this every morning when she stares into that cold bathroom mirror, and a strong but broken woman that should have died that day stares back at her. Sometimes it takes her a moment to remember: It's her own reflection looking back into her soul.

She had woken up in a hospital. Alice was told she had been sleeping for two weeks now. When she first awoke, she could have sworn that lovely white ceiling was Heaven, but then she remembered that this was impossible because she was probably going to Hell. The doctors mumbled back and forth, and a few people came in and asked her questions. No one could believe she was still alive. Not even herself. She should've died. She was supposed to die. Something went wrong. Story of her life.

Power: Super-strength. Dorothy has ten times the strength of a normal human being. While she is stronger, she isn’t as fast. If anything, her new powers may have made her slower.
Appearance: Dorothy has long red hair, and average features for a girl. She keeps on her person the cross necklace Duo had given her at one time. She keeps it to remind herself of the betrayal, and what she must do.
Personality: While Dorothy has tried to correct it time and time again, she can easily form bonds with others, and can become greatly devastated when her friends die. She has tried to distance herself from others to prevent any more pain in her life. As a commander, Dorothy is a strict person. Because of recent events, Dorothy is somewhat unstable.
History: Dorothy Wayne had led a normal life. Just like any average girl would. Nothing exciting ever happened. Up until the day her father joined the Rebellion. He spoke of treacherous things, things that were not to have been known. He claimed the government controlled them via their minds, and that they had no real free will. Father had claimed he was apart of the Rebellion, and had cures for the mind control. He wanted them to join too, to help bring down the Union of Humanity.

Dorothy refused. She was a loyalist through and through. However, her mother wasn’t as loyal as her, it soon turned out. She was soon faced with either joining them, or being put into a grave. Dorothy accepted. But, she had other plans, unknown to her parents.

Later that night, Dorothy attempted escape. She could tell people. She would not betray her country. But she miscalculated her footing on the ledge of her house, slipped, and landed rather loudly in the bushes below. In what seemed like a mere instant to Alice the house came to life with confused voices, and soon exclamations of realization. She scrambled to her feet. She could hear her parents behind her. They had weapons. Dorothy became desperate to avoid them.

Then the raids began.

Most of her life, the area of her country she lived in was always a battleground. The Common People’s Empire was always trying to advance through the city, but had been stopped by the UH so far. Every now and then the CPE sent planes to raid the town, try to destroy military installations. Then they would follow up with a land attack if they destroyed something important.

All Dorothy remembered then was the scream of an engine, and a flash of light. When she awoke, her home was destroyed. All that remained of her parents was the arm of her mother. Before she could process this she was found and picked up by Unionist soldiers. The CPE had struck the barracks and the airfield, and were now invading. The UH needed to evacuate the town, and retreat. A week later she was put into a foster home.

The foster family didn't really seem to like her all that much. She was always just out of the picture. Those days were spent in silence, and in thought. The moment she knew she could, Dorothy left for the military. She had nothing to leave behind, save her past. She has nothing to say of her foster family. She had never really belonged.

While in the military, Dorothy fell in love. His name was Duo Alucard. They went through training together, and by the time they graduated they had fallen in love. They were put into the same unit, with Duo as their squad leader. They fought together, side-by-side, taking down as many CPEs as they could. For Dorothy, it couldn’t have been any better.

During a battle, a nuclear bomb was supposed to be dropped upon the oncoming enemy reinforcements. The unit assigned to protect the man to fire it was killed mysteriously. Duo’s squad was called in at the last minute to protect the man. They retreated from the battlefield and went to do their work. They split up, half the squad going to patrol the hallways of the base. The other four would stay together in the room with the man.

In an instant, it all changed. Everyone but Duo fell to the floor, a horrible and destructive noise filling the air. Duo whipped out his gun and shot the other two teammates in the head, and then killed the man to set off the bomb. The noise stopped, and Dorothy got back up. She demanded an explanation.

Duo revealed he was a spy sent by the CPE. His current assignment was to set off the bomb here, to destroy the coming reinforcements sent by the UH. Duo said he did not want to kill her, however. He truly loved her, and wanted her to join him. To ran away together to the CPE after this was all over.

Dorothy was conflicted. On the one hand, she loved Duo. On the other, he was a spy who killed her comrades, men who had been like brothers to her. What was she to do? After a moment, she made her decision. Something within her told her that the Union was more important than Duo. That he had betrayed her, and needed to pay. She raised the gun at him.

The other squad mates came into the room, to investigate the shots. The noise filled the air again and Duo began to execute the others. Dorothy fell to the ground in pain, and accidentally pulled the trigger on her gun. A bullet was sent forward toward the nuke. Duo’s screams of horror were the last things she heard.

The bomb exploded, killing them all. At least, it should have. But at the moment of death, Dorothy resisted. She didn’t want to die. She didn’t want to die yet. In that moment, she decided that she wanted revenge on Duo. Revenge for betraying everything she believed in, for killing her comrades. Dorothy wanted justice in that moment.

Then, she woke up in a hospital. The doctors had no idea how, but she had survived the blast. Dorothy was informed no one else had survived. Including Duo. Now, an unstable woman is what is left of Dorothy. She is both angry and sad at the fact her love and friends are dead. Every fiber of her being had wanted to seek justice for what Duo had done. Now, she has taken a vow. Dorothy vows to kill each and every CPE soldier and citizen she can, until her dying breath. Only then, does she think that true justice can be accomplished for her.

(GAH! Sorry these two took so long and held up the RP! Anyways, here be me and Plague's chars!)

Power/Weapon: NI-4X (Aka Vandal). The NI-4X is an advanced neural interface unit designed for usage by combat engineers of the CPE. Connected directly to the user’s spinal cord, the NI-4X sports four servitor arms. Each of these arms can function like an extension of the user’s body or can be guided by a small semi-sentient AI built directly into the model. One of the model’s servitor arms functions as a normal arm would, in addition to this there’s the MultiTool arm which can adapt to various mechanical roles by attaching different “heads” which are stored within a small compartment built into the model. The third arm is a flashlight with three tiny fingers attached, the flashlight folds back into the “palm” of the hand and the fingers are used for delicate electronic repair work. The fourth and final arm is the demolitions arm, used to create explosives of all types. The demolitions arm attaches directly to a small chemical lab that produces its various compounds. Lanja’s NI-4X is called Vandal due to the AI’s penchant for destroying things when Lanja is not in control. Against regulations Lanja has adorned her model with the fearsome visage of a shark, in a silent tribute to her ancestry. Additional Info: There have been reported cases of misuse for enemy extermination.
Appearance: She is a giant of a woman, coming in at a towering 6’2”. Her dark tan never fades, seeing as its her natural skin color. The left side of her face is covered by tribal tattoos that extend down her neck, her right arm and hand is also covered in tribal tattoos, along with her left leg. A multitude of scars crisscross her body, the most notable perhaps being the one that slashes across her belly, for her childhood and career. Adorning her face are several bone piercings, one spike rests just below her lower lip, another pierces the bridge of her nose, and two are located in the cartilage of her right ear. The only other “accessory” she wears is her dog tags. A rather large gash slashes across her right cheek, and it is covered by a bandage that is much too small for the wound. Her brown hair is dreadlocked and worn in a ponytail. Her dreadlocks are decorated with metal and bone beads, and a single, carefully carved bone is woven into her hair. Her eyes are dark brown. She wears standard issue CPE military garb. Her armor is relatively light compared to the standard soldier, consisting of a light vest(tis the future equivalent of Kevlar), knee and elbow pads. She is constantly wearing a pair of fingerless gloves and always has a pair of goggles hanging around her neck.
Personality: Lanja is…well, she’s a tad reckless. She tends to dive head first into situations, regardless of the consequences. She’s always been the instigator of the two, and she’s got a knack for getting her brother to do what she wants. While she tends to get into tight spots, she somehow always manages to come out mostly unscathed. Despite her nature, if you’re looking for solid back up in a fire fight, she’s the one to turn to.
History: Lanja was the first twin, born a mere six seconds before her brother. She was born and raised on a decent sized island under the CPE control. Growing up, she and her brother were nigh inseparable, doing anything and everything together. They were often described as a pair of hell raisers by the folk of their home, though everyone knew it was really Lanja that started all the trouble, Agnor just tended to tag along. Being the more reckless of the two, she often was responsible for getting Angor into trouble, hurt, or both. The Godani twins were assigned to the military tract of life. Before they enlisted at age 16, they went through their coming of age rites together. In their military training, Lanja showed an innate talent for anything mechanical and she was selected to become a combat engineer. After the completion of her basic training she received the NI-4X , which would soon come to be called Vandal. She and her brother have always been part of the same squad, and have an…interesting service record, to say the least

Power/Weapon: NI-4L (Aka Butterfingers). The NI-4L is an advanced neural interface unit designed for usage by combat medics of the CPE. Connected directly to the user’s spinal cord, the NI-4L sports four servitor arms. Each of these arms can function like an extension of the user’s body or can be guided by a small semi-sentient AI built directly into the model. Two of the model’s servitor arms function as normal arms would, in addition to these there’s the MediTool arm which can adapt to various medical roles by attaching different “heads” which are stored within a small compartment built into the model. The final arm is the syringe arm, which is used to give medication and take tissue samples. The syringe arm attaches to a small chemical lab that produces its various medicines. Agnor’s NI-4L is called Butterfingers due to the AI’s terrible coordination when Agnor is not in control. Against regulations Agnor has covered his model in the tribal markings of his heritage. Additional Info: There have been reported cases of misuse for enemy extermination.

He is covered from head to toe with tribal tattoos dating back to his warrior ancestry. To add to his already fearsome visage he has several bone piercings, two spikes pierce his eyebrows (one each), a spike sits just below his lower lip, and finally his belly button also bares a large spike. The only other “accessory” that he wears is his dog tags. A rather noticeable scar runs down the center of his left knee and he is missing his right index finger. His brown hair is worn in a tri-hawk (its basically three short mohawks that come together in the back). His eyes are a dark brown. He wears standard issue CPE military garb. His armor is relatively light compared to the standard soldier, consisting of a light vest(tis the future equivalent of Kevlar), shoulder pads, and a knee pad on his left knee. His armor is adorned with warrior designs, and his knee pad has the emblem of a shark on it.
Personality: Agnor is the more cautious of the two, he’s more likely to plan something out trying to work in as many details as he can about what can possibly go wrong, variables, etc. More often than not he will assess the situation instead of charging in headfirst. However, he appears to be easily manipulated by his twin sister. When push comes to shove Agnor is the one you turn to get your butt out of the fire.
