The Super Store Massacre (T-M) Co-Owned by Nightmare13 (Started but Accepting)

It seemed to be another normal day at Johann's Super-mart. The floors were filled with people, the staff was working, and it seemed like everybody present was happy. Until it happened.

As a teenage girl was checking out a sack of potatoes to bring home to her mother, the cash register shut down. The lights began to flicker until they were off, and only the windows near the roof of each floor could provide light However, in a moment the light returned, the cash register was working and the loud speaker was blasting.

"Good afternoon, shoppers. I am Joshua, the manager of this Johann's and I am here to tell you we have experienced a loss of power. We are running on emergency power, and we need everyone to exit the building while we still have this power. We ask that you begin exiting the store immed..."

He was cut off, and the people were wondering what had happened, but began to leave regardless. They didn't get the chance, though because within moments of Joshua being cut off, the power left again. The doors were discovered to be locked. All the people found was a dead body hanging on the door, and a mysterious voice on the loud speaker. There was a murderer on the loose in Johann's.

Additional Info: Johann's is a four level super-mart in Calgary, Alberta. The first floor includes groceries, pet food, and hygienic items. The second level is electronics and household items like silverware. The third is hardware and DIY supplies. The forth is partially taken up by staff quarters but also includes toys and children's items. There is also a large garage attached to the East side of the building. The main and emergency doors on the base level are very reinforced and would be very hard to break through.

The staff members include the manager, whose position is unknown, but is possibly in the staff quarters where the loudspeaker is. There are also two cleaners and workers to bring the wares to the shelves on each floor. In addition, there are 20 cashiers, and five mechanics. The store as two large elevators, three smaller ones, and two stair-wells.

In this RP, there is room for the group of customers who have been stuck and are looking to get out and figure out the situation. There are also staff workers who have joined them. In addition, there is the position of leader of the murderers and the leaders of said man.

History: Susan has spent her whole life in the Calgary area, but had moved slightly from within. She is the daughter of a Prairie farmer, and has three brothers and one sister. She was always being told how to be ladylike and never really introduced to many modern problems. She is afraid of airplanes, and any violence sickens her. One could say her life has been sheltered. When the store closed down, Susan was shopping for fruits and vegetables one the first floor. When she saw the dead body, she passed out for a moment, but luckily was quickly revived.

History:She Lives With her Twin brother, and three younger siblings. The are all she has because her parents were killed when she was 16 and the only way her and her siblings stayed together was that they were good and didnt get in trouble with the law.

He was pressured to help with the income of the family by his father, so he has taken up a job at the superstore, after quiting his Mc.Job.

Appearance: Sara’s blonde hair is swept back into a loose pony tail, her eyes are dark brown. Her black slacks are pressed perfectly, along with a crisp red dress shirt. Over the top of this, she wears a black suit jacket, tailored specifically to fit her frame. Perfectly shined black boots and a pinstriped fedora round out the outfit. Slung over one shoulder hangs a stylish brown leather case.
Personality: Sara is…Polite by all outward appearances. She’s charming, highly intelligent, charismatic. Something about her just makes you want trust her. However, underneath this approachable and friendly exterior lies something far more unpleasant. She’s cold, calculating, cruel even. She thinks nothing of murder, of the taking of another’s life. After all, it is her business.
History: Sara grew up in a normal household, had plenty of friends. Overall, there were no extenuating circumstances for her turn to crime. One day, she simply snapped. Since that fateful day, her life has consisted of crimes, murders, thefts. Perhaps her most shining achievements have been the murders of several high ranking senators down in the States. She seems to target “corrupt” government officials. But, this never stops her from enjoying a little…sport, if you will. Thus far she has evaded capture and the murders under her belt have remained unsolved and her identity uncompromised.

His red and grey hat is often worn slightly askew. On his left arm he wears a bracer along with black fingerless gloves on both hands.
Personality: Owen puts on the tough front, and is generally a tough guy. However, he tends to get a little bit panicky in the face of serious situations.
History: Owen grew up as “the rebel” of his family, getting into adrenaline fueled sports. He quickly found his place in the world of skateboarding. He showed exceptional talent in his first years and is now competing in semi-pro competition. He came to the store to buy an energy drink and some cigarettes.
Other Valuable Information: Due to his skateboarding ability, he is very fast and good at escapes.

Impatiently, he paced back and forth on the hard beige tiles in a mysterious room. He knew he was doing pretty good so far, but could not let anything happen. After a few paces in the room, he turned to his personal assistant, with his ski mask still on, in the dark room.

"What's the situation?" he gruffly barked at his partner in crime.

"We're expecting Sara to come into communication with us soon, but nothing is certain." he replied. This man didn't wear a ski mask when in private, and you could see his face clearly. Stone-jawed, he had dark brown eyes, buzzed black hair, and a very muscular body. He was shorter than the man he worker for, but only slightly. He was wearing a black spandex shirt with blue denim jeans.

"As long as she doing her job, the situation will be under control."The man mumbled. "What about the secret weapon?"

"Ah! We're in the middle of setting that up, sir. I'm sure it will be very effective...."

"Oh yes! Yes it will be! This is our ticket to success, my man! The man exclaimed, much more excited than usual"

"One question though sir, what success is there to be had in killing people in a superstore..."

"You're getting paid aren't you!" the man interrupted.

"Yes..."

"Than you don't need to worry" The man said he he strolled off into his previous pacing route. "All you need to worry about is killing those people...."

"Yes, sir" he responded "That is why they call you your name..."

He was the Killer.

"Lily I don't want to die!" Jack cried, tears running down his face.
"You aren't going to die, we are going to get out of here." She promised, but her face was streaked as well.
"Why cant you call 911?! They'll save us!" He wailed.
"Jack, calm down, I dont have my phone, we have to get out on our own." She told him.
"Why do they want to kill us?"
"I-I I don't know Jack, I'm sorry." She hugged her younger brother.
"Let's start trying to find a way out."

Susan Ryan

Susan paced at her full speed around the expanse of Johann's, more worried than she had ever been in her life. What would happen, she asked herself? What is death like?

"What happening, sir!" she managed to get out of her weeping voice to one of the cashiers.

As they all tried to settle her down, she started praying before she moved on to a new employee or fellow customer, pleading with them to learn the reality of the situation. Eventually, this scramble around the building led her to Jack and Lily.

"Children, whats going on! Are we going to die?" the exhausted, weeping old women asked. Tears were rolling down her red wrinkled cheeks and her voice was raspier than ever. She couldn't control herself: She never faced any problem to this magnitude before.

Jack weeped into Lily's shirt. He heard Susan and sobbed even harder.
"I-I don't know, I'm sorry, but please, if you find a way out, tell us, Jack is only 11 I just want to make sure he gets out safely." She answered. She rubbed her brother's back. He straightened his back, wiped his eyes.
"I wouldn't leave without you." He told her.
"Ok, kiddo, let's get out of here." She wiped her eyes too.

"God bless you all." Susan managed to say in her condition. "You know..." she began , beginning to calm down, "If we could work together, with some of the other good people here, we might be able to save ourselves. If ya'd like, we should talk to some other people here"

"I think that would be a good idea, except it's never good to trust somebody in a situation like that." She said. Her and Jack made eye contact and thought back to a time when they trusted a con ma, who tricked them andtheir parents out of their apartment, but that was when mom and dad were alive.

A burst of static sounded on the radio inside the room, sound loud and harsh in the relative silence. It was followed by a soft rapping sound, almost as if someone was knocking on a door. A soft chuckle sounded next.

“Knock knock, boss man.”

Sara Carter leaned against the wall in the deserted women’s bathroom on the upper most floor, two fingers pressed to her ear piece. Her other hand pulled her fedora down lower, hiding her dark eyes. A smirk turned her lips up, a cruel façade of a smile. She dropped her free hand, drumming her fingers on the strap of her bag.

Everything about her said that she was in prefect control of the situation; from her relaxed stance to her amusement filled eyes.

“Anybody home up there?”

Susan

"Oh come on children, we need to band together. I'm but a harmless little old lady! I want to help you! I want to be helped!" Susan exclaimed after sensing some discomfort from the siblings. "If you want to help me so I can help you, I'm sure you'll find me..how about at the front door area! I'll look for others! Oh dear, I hope we all make it out of this."

These were Susan's last worried words as she walked on, looking for someone else to confide to about what was going on at Johann's on that fateful day.



Killer

Backed up by the mysterious man assisting him, the man who had been known as the Killer for most of his life exited the door on the top floor of the building confident that all who had been shopping had since ran for the lower door or had started descending with the first call to exit. the Killer strutted the floor of the highest floor like a man who had no heart would. His eyes were never taken off of his target, and it appeared that gravity pushed him forwards. His super-sensitive eyes were trained from his experiences. He had flashbacks of his days in the pen, of his great escape. of his previous murders. He knew to get what he wanted, he couldn't hesitate to kill.

Then, something before him twitched. He quickly turned his head sharply to his right, and began to hear heavy breathing. He pulled out his pistol shockingly efficiently from the belt and pointed it at the source. Between dolls, The Killer saw a pair of eyes, looking at him, saturated with fright.

Bang.

The cold body fell against the floor, with the single bullet from the pistol hitting between the eyes with unheard-of accuracy. By now, the Killer knew he couldn't think about killing. He just had to.

He had come too far now to let guilt ruin him.

"Jack. See the air duct above those shelves, could we get in there?" Lily asked.
Jack ran over and clambered up the shelves with ease.
"Yeah, I'll get it open." He told her, he grabbed his pocketknife and switched out the scewdriver. He made quick work of the vent
Jack stodd up on the shelf so he was halfway i the vent.
"Clean, must be pretty good metal, no bugs, seems sturdy." He reported to her. With that, He climbed in, followed by his sister. She pulled the grate up behind them and with a bit of difficulty, got the screws in.
"Ok, well go until we find a spot where nobody could see us if the looked in the air shaft, then we wait until help arrives maybe.
