Assassins (Rated T-M)

Name: William Ashford.

Age: Forty-five years old.

Appearance: Pale skin, black hair that's graying, blue eyes. 5' 8" and 180 lbs.

Gender: Male.

History: Mr. William Ashford is a famous and wealthy business tycoon. His face is known throughout the world, especially within the United States. He runs one of the most successful multi-national businesses in the world, known as Ashford Foundations. Specifically the company makes new weapons for various government militaries, and has other areas it researches in. Mr. Ashford makes more in a year than most people make in a lifetime, and he’s proud of it. William Ashford is now one of the most powerful men in the world, and he’s damn proud of it. However, he has crushed many people beneath his heel to get to where he is today. Many lives have been ruined, and people have died by his hand.

Now someone wants him dead, and you’ve been hired to do the deed.

You are an assassin, and one of the best in your field. You make a good living, and now a new client of yours has hired you to kill William Ashford. Why, you don’t know, and don’t care all that much. For you, it’s just another job to do. It seems straightforward enough, and while hard, you’ve got a big paycheck waiting for you at the end.

However, this hit isn’t as easy as it once seemed. Turns out several different assassins have been hired to kill the guy. And as people know, assassins never work well together, and never play fair. So now you’ve got to kill Williams, prevent the other guys from doing it, deal with Ashford’s various security agents, the law, and whatever else the Universe decides to throw your way, all without dying.

THE ASSASSINS:

The Vamp (A Woman who uses her body and charms to seduce the Target before killing him.)

The Pyro (A Sadist who loves torturing and killing his targets.)

The Strategist and the Big Guy (One is the brain, the other is the brawn. Apart they're useless, together; they're a force to be reckoned with.)

The bad James Bond (….Need I explain this one?)

The Cold Killer (Someone who is very cold and logical in their methods. They have no emotional investment in their job and are only in it for the money. Nothing more.)

The Retribution Seeker (This man or woman was personal harmed by Mr. Williams in some way or form. Maybe the guy ruined his entire life, or Williams directly or indirectly killed someone he cared about. Either way, this assassin isn’t in it for the money, but for something far more personal. He or she wants to kill Williams themselves, and will let no one stop them from doing it.)

The Adult and ‘Child’ (These two also work in a pair. One partner is a pretty normal assassin, but the other has some type of disease that stopped aging them around ten years old. Thus, the other looks and is usually treated as a child to those who don’t know them. But, the ‘child’ uses his or her looks to their advantage. In most modern countries, people would rarely suspect a child of being an assassin, so this makes him or her the perfect one. He or she can get into places where no one else would be allowed without suspicion, and can get through most security checkpoints. After all, why would a ‘child’ carry a gun?

However, to keep up the appearance, the ‘child’ needs a parent figure of some sort to help get around. Thus, that is where his or her partner comes in. They pretend to be the ‘child’s’ parent and help him or her get to places where one would need an adult chaperone.)

THE PROTECTORS:

The Bodyguard (Mr. Williams knew that a hit would be taken out on him sooner or later, so he’s hired an armed escort to covertly protect him at all times. Some are former cops, mercenaries, or soldiers who all work for the same company Williams hired from to get his security escort. You will do whatever it takes to protect Williams, so long as you’re paid.)

The Detective (A private investigator has been under cover in William’s company for years now, searching for evidence of his corruption that can take him down. However, unlike the assassins, he wants William alive so he can stand trial. While it pains him to do this, the private detective will do whatever it takes to ensure Mr. William’s safety, and then put him into a jail cell. Right where he belongs.)

THE RULES:

1: Most other RP general rules apply here. No Mary Sues, no God-modding, all that good stuff.
2: You are only allowed 3 characters right now. That could be changed, though.
3: Please be literate with your posts, and have at least 4 sentences per post.
4: I may add to these rules at any time.
5: An expansion to the God-mod rule. If you take an assassin, know that they are not gods. Assassins, while being very good at their jobs, can make mistakes and are not indestructible. Your assassins are expected to make a mistake every now and then, and of course you’re going to get wounded a few times. How serious these wounds are is up to you. Heck, your assassin might even get killed during the story’s course.

Personality: While Sarah may appear and act as a sweet, innocent little girl, but she is anything but that. Sarah is actually a loudmouth, fierce, and at times bloodthirsty woman.
History: Sarah grew up with abusive parents, and the only one who truly seemed to care about her was her fraternal twin brother. Because of this, Sarah latched on to him as she grew up, though he didn’t seem to mind. They sought each other’s comfort often during the worst moments of their childhood. Things didn’t get any better for Sarah when she was twelve, and hadn’t matured or grown any since she turned ten. At her brother’s insistence, her parents took her to a doctor. Shortly thereafter, Sarah was diagnosed with a disease that had rendered her unable to grow up, so to speak. Since Sarah had gotten this disease when she turned ten, she would forever look that way, no matter how old she became. Over the years this led to endless teasing and psychological abuse by her peers at school and by her parents, even moreso than usually by the latter. Sarah slowly withdrew from the outside world, and began to hate everyone that wasn’t her brother.

When Sarah was sixteen, she and her brother couldn’t take the abuse their parents gave them anymore. They conspired together, and murdered their parents in their sleep. However, they arranged the event in such a way that it looked like their father had murdered their mother, then committed suicide afterwards. This began Sarah and her brother’s descent into the path of the assassin, after seeing how easy it was to kill their parents.

After spending a few years with foster parents, Sarah and her brother were finally allowed to live alone. Since she couldn’t get a job for her looks, and her brother had no real useful skills, eventually they decided to use the one thing they were good at to their advantage: their ability to kill with ease. Using her appearance as a little girl, Sarah and her brother were able to pull off several hits that no one else would have been able to do because no one would suspect a ‘child’ of being any threat to anybody.

Now they’ve been hired by an old, scorned associate of William Ashford’s to kill the businessman. They’ve accepted, and have now infiltrated a charity ball Ashford is hosting to do the deed.

Preferred Method of Execution: Letting a person slowly bleed to death, if possible. If not, then a bullet to the heart.

Personality: Jack can basically be summed up in one sentence: a deranged, psychopathic, sadistic mass-murderer who enjoys torturing his victims before executing them. He is an evil bastard, and Jack acknowledges that with much glee. He doesn’t have a shred of mercy or good within him, and always takes great pleasure in other people’s pain. Especially when he’s the one inflicting it.
History: Jack has no real past, present, or future. No one knows who he really is, where he came from, or even why he’s an assassin in the first place. He just showed up one day, basically, and started to become a well-known killer for the trail of blood he usually leaves behind him in each hit he takes. While some people don’t like the amount of bodies he leaves behind, some of his clients enjoy seeing their enemies suffer, so Jack has become rather popular with that crowd of vengeful people. Recently Jack was hired by one of William Ashford’s ex-wives to kill the man, and he would get paid extra if it was in an especially gruesome manner. Jack eagerly accepted the contract, and is now posing as a waiter at one of Ashford’s many charity balls, where he intends to kill the billionaire.

Appearance: This assassin stands about 5’8 in height and weighs some 145lbs. He’s a bald chinese man with brown eyes. A tight black shirt covers his upper body and the lower part is covered by baggy red pants. Finally, he has some light boots that reach up until his knees. Inside one of the boots he hides a short sword, his weapon for decapitation.
Assassin? (If yes, what type): Executioner

Personality: Unlike what he’d been taught, Lee is violent, crazy, serious, selfish and egocentric. Everything that is the opposite of caring, love, peace and everything taught to monks, Shaolin Monks to be specific.

History: Up until present day, somewhere within Mt. Everest in China, lies still a secret Shaolin temple where teachings and old traditions are still preserved and passed on from generation to generation. Lee was a former monk who for certain reason known only to him left his beliefs and the temple somewhere between the age of 20 to 25 years old. Not having a “normal” education of sorts he started a job as a body guard of a rich man in England. He was accepted for the job because of his fighting skills and abilities with blades, however as a demand of his boss he was forced to learn how to use a gun. One day a man tried to kill Lee’s boss but lee managed to shoot the guy in on knee and one arm leaving him unable to complete his attack and yelling on the floor from the humongous pain from both wounds. And now he had experienced how it felt to kill. Troubling thing, he liked it. After some time he quit his job as body guard and took the role of an assassin. At first the pay was cheap, but it didn’t matter much to Lee, he just wanted the satisfaction he got from ending a man’s life. For a while it was quite satisfying, but after a while it got boring. Now he needed a bigger challenge, something or someone harder to killing order to acquire the satisfaction. Lee was becoming a psychopath of sorts. After several successful kills, word spread around of this assassin, he was known as the ‘Executioner’ because all his victims were decapitated, even if they were agonizing or even dead.

Currently Lee has been hired by Ashford’s Wife. A great sum of money was offered to him by this woman because she’ll get everything if he dies.

Personality: Keenan is a stoic person with a clear sense of purpose. He is deeply religious and most of the time, he maintains a calm disposition, completely at peace with his own purpose in life.
History: All Keenan has ever known is a cult of assassins that is located predominantly in Southwest Asia and the Weast Coast of the United States. From an early age, he was indoctrinated in the cult's doctrine of "Peace". In order to ensure peace and harmony, the cult taught Keenan that there were some people that had to be eliminated. Still young, Keenan accepted this as true and trained his body and mind in the art of killing without guilt or enjoyment, just a grim satisfaction that he had made the world a better place.

When he was 12, Keenan made his first kill. It was at a village where one of the cult's temples was located. The village provided the temple with resources and the temple took care of its criminals. Thus, a murderer was brought before Keenan and, with a deep breath, he stabbed the man in the chest. As he grew older, Keenan helped older assassins with their missions before taking jobs on his own. The cult was paid the reward from the kills and Keenan was provided with everything he'd need to train and kill again. Now, he's been sent by the Cult to kill William Ashford in exchange for a "donation" from a prominent United States Senator who is being blackmailed by Mr. Ashford.
Preferred Weapon of Choice: Sword, knives, and any type of blade. He is, however, forced to use guns more than he would like.
Preferred Method of Execution: Stabbing someone through the heart.

Appearance: When appearing to clients, generally wears a trenchcoat and a hat to match, with brown boots and a tan shirt underneath. His face is actually blank, just a pure white head with no features, though no one is quite certain whether it's truly his face or just another disguise.
Assassin? (If yes, what type): Coldkiller
Personality: Mismatch does not experience emotion in the same way other humans do. Their emotions just react to situations, no matter how much control they think they have. He does not react emotionally to anything, and as a result can display emotion however he wants whenever he wants. So his personality is whatever he wants, whatever he needs to put on.
History: Mismatch has become so many people over the course of his life even he isn't sure exactly what was real and what was part of his charade. He can recall a rich boy in Europe as one of his earlier memories, but there's no evidence to show this was really his life or just one he was already in the impersination game. Since he can remember he has been interchanging between identities, and only one person knew who he really was: his mentor Shif. Once a master of disguise himself, he passed on everything to his protege; disguise, impersination techniques, and of course, assassination techniques. Mismatch practiced for many years, and no longer remembers when it stopped being practice and when his career begins, but he thinks his first murder was of a crime boss in a small town, though what age he was eludes him, and continues to elude him now, age meaning little to him. He has not seen Shif in several years, or recognized him at least. He doesn't really care either, since the two don't have an emotional attatchment, ridding oneself of emotion being an early lesson. Business is all assassination is to Mismatch, and the larger the pay the more likely he'll do the job.

Hired by a rival corporate official to off Mr. Ashford, Mismatch is now, well, anyone at the ball, or multiple people.

Appearance: "A wall of meat" is usually what people refer to him as. On the job he wears a black jumpsuit that screams bodyguard, flexible for action but not out of place in any formal gathering. He wears shades and a headset radio that allows him to communicate with other guards. He has short brown hair with some grey starting to pop up and brown eyes.

Personality: Marcus Bernald is pretty stoic when on the job, the ideal guard. When not protecting Mr. Ashford (his current employer), he jokes around and kids with fellow guards, usually by drinking and playing cards, or watching football. He can be a bit of a bully with people, though he acts that way with everyone, some people just take it differently. He also gets mad if anyone threatens a lady.
History: Macus Bernald had a pretty ordinary life, he was a big athlete in school on the football team and tried to go pro. However, when he realized that he probably wouldn't make it, he switched and started training in martial arts and physical fitness, since that was about all he was really good at. He signed on with a small time protection agency at one point and became good at it, and worked his way up through private buyers. Now he's one of many guards for the Business Tycoon William Ashford, and he really doesn't care much about the guy, for now he's being paid and will guard the man until the cash flow stops.
Preferred Weapon of Choice: Though he's good with a gun, his bare hands, or any blunt instrument, he really likes his Tazer.
Preferred Method of Execution: He doesn't kill if he can help it.

Appearance: Edmund.
Assassin? : Yes, the "Adult" assassin.
Personality: Edmund is calm, understanding, protective, and a bit awkward. Unlike his Sister, Edmund takes no pleasure in their job. Though he also has no problem with it either. Edmund is not just the parent to his Sister because of his appearance, but also because of his demeanor. But he also has a berserk button, and if pushed too far, Edmund can be extremely cold and violent.
History: Edmund grew up with abusive parents, though he knew his Sister had it far worse then himself. Because of this, Edmund did everything he possibly could to help protect Sarah. They survived their Parents abuse together. When Sarah and Edmund were both Eleven, Edmund noticed something odd about Sarah. Well specifically, with how Sarah was growing. So he tried talking to his Parents about it. It took eight months for him to convince them that they should just get Sarah checked up. But when his Parents finally gave their consent, Edmund was vindicated. Though his Sister's situation just got worse and worse. Their Parent's abuse towards Sarah just got worse and worse, and of course the kids at school were no better. So Edmund isolated himself from the rest of the world so he could make Sarah feel better.

When he was sixteen, Sarah suggested to him one night that they should try and kill their own Parents. Edmund was startled and at first adamantly refused, knowing that killing someone would be a line he didn't want to cross. But three days later, after Edmund has seen his Father beating Sarah down the stairs, he quickly changed his mind. It took fifteen days. To plan and execute their parents demise. And Edmund was correct, killing their parents had been a line that Sarah and he had crossed. It was their first kill, and it begun their descent into becoming hired Killers.

After two years of jumping between (nine) Foster homes, Edmund and Sarah were finally alone. Unfortunately, because Edmund had no higher education, and because of Sarah's disease, Edmund and Sarah had trouble supporting themselves. Edmund got a job at a gas station, and it was enough to make rent. But they still had trouble with getting food. But they found other means of making money, using their ability to kill with ease and work together. Eventually their money problems were gone.

Edmund aged himself, dying parts of his hair gray, and aging his skin so he would look ten years older. Instead of twins, Edmund and Sarah looked like a Father and his daughter. It was kind of sad, Edmund thought. But he didn't dwell on it.

Recently, Edmund and Sarah were hired to kill William Ashford, they have infiltrated a charity ball so they can do the deed.

Personality: Ryan is a charming and persuasive man. He enjoys setting goals for himself just so he can complete them. At times he can be violent, but Ryan believes it is necessary for his job.
History: Ryan has always been an exceptional young man who excelled in whatever he did. Though he will never tell anyone, Ryan came from a lower class family of Farmers from Iowa, and he spent most of his childhood trying to distance himself from them. When he was eighteen Ryan joined the Navy Seals, which he stayed with for eight years. Afterward Ryan joined the CIA for three, though he quickly grew bored with his job.

Ryan's life changed when the Government sent him on a mission to kill a Russian politician. It was the first time in a few years that Ryan enjoyed his job, and so he quit it and became a mercenary killer. The job has paid very well, and Ryan loves the work.

Recently Ryan has been hired by the EU to kill William Ashford.

Personality: Rise is very seductive and not ashamed to flaunt herself in order to complete the jobs she's given. She cares little for others and thinks that romance or any real relationships are doomed to fail. She can be cynical at times, having a negative view of things. Otherwise she is a lively girl, flirting with people and speaking her mind.
History: Rise had an alcoholic as a mother and her father was rarely there. Rise barely made it through school, dropping out at the age of 16 to be a model. She ran away from home to find work without having to worry about being nagged at by her parents. She lived on the street for a couple years, becoming a hooker for a while. But when she was being hassled about not making enough money, she killed her pimp. After doing so, she began to learn that she could use her good looks to seduce men and then kill them and take their things. She eventually started to take on customers, living in a shabby apartment so not to draw attention to herself or all the money she has made.

Personality: Naoto is a serious guy. He does what has to be done and doesn't like being questioned about it. He is good at keeping his emotions under control, but he isn't very cold towards people. He is actually a caring guy underneath it all, but chooses to be a serious and hardworking person in order to get the job done with few to little problems.
History: Naoto was born into a normal middle class family. From an early age he was interested in police and detective work. He liked the idea of stopping criminals and putting them behind bars, making the world a safer place for people. He helped out at school with bullies, easily getting a rep as someone not to mess around with. He did have trouble with some bullies and others who try to get away with things, but Naoto was able to do some good for his community. His parents did not agree with him becoming a private detective though, thinking it too dangerous and so he has cut ties with them for now. He is working for Ashford, though in reality he is looking for enough reason to put him away.

Personality: Zach usually gives off the attitude of an aloof loner, one not to be messed with. Deep down, his true personality is that of kind man, haunted by something that happened to him long ago.
History: Zach's father was one of the most respected cops in his city's history. He was a hero, shutting down drug cartels and leading the fight against organized crime. Unfortunately, Zach's father and his family lived in the same city as William Ashford. His father was chasing down a lead that would have connected Ashford with a weapons deal with the Mafia, but Ashford found out. The businessman offered him money to look the other way, but Zach's father refused. The day afterword, his father was arrested, framed for a murder of a suspect.

In disgrace, he and his mother moved away and without his father to support them, she became a prostitute. Later, she was killed by her pimp and Zach was left alone. He joined a street gang, but his mind was forever focused on getting revenge. Eventually, he left and found that he had a gift at being an assassin. He started at low-level jobs, always making sure he was going after a criminal, never an innocent person, and worked his way up until he was one of the assassins that someone would hire to kill Ashford. Now, at long last, Zach plans to kill the man that killed his parents at a Charity Ball he is hosting.
