No Man's Land

There is a place in the world where beings of a different sort gather and reveal their true selves. Vampires, werewolves, fairies, elves and more all gather here under the pretense of a Summer Camp, and spend these months socializing freely and letting loose after being concealed for months in the human world. The campsite is actually a natural place, with mountains, a forest, a river and lake, and meadows all in the surrounding area that has a different sky, the sun and moon move at similar but different intervals, the moon going through its cycle in a week. It's called No Man's Land, because no man has ever seen it. It's a place of magic where humans cannot find on their own, only with the help of a non-human.

However, something unprecedented has happened, a human has somehow been signed up for the camp and is now among these non-humans. With it, dissenting opinions on what to do with the human have arisen. Some want to turn them into one of them, others want to erase their memory and send them away. There are some who wish to befriend the human and let them stay, unharmed and let them see how the non-humans are. And then some want to kill the human.

In this place where being human may spell out doom, how will this human cope and survive? Who will protect them, who will seek to harm them?

History: Jim was always more interested in solitary activities like reading or playing video games, and he's been sent to different things to try to get him more active and socially involved. None have really worked, and as a last-ditch chance before college, his parents signed him up for the Summer Camp, and somehow, someone messed up and admitted him. He's been going to the summer camp for the last few years, though he's not gotten too much out of it.

History: Sedo was born from a passion-filled night between his Elven father and Naiad mother. He was raised in the early months of his life by his mother, but his father returned when he learned of his son and took him away to be raised by elves. Sedo didn't learn about his mother until he was around 10, and then he started to visit her. He learned to control water from her, though he was never as powerful as her. This stopped at around age 15 when he began going into human society, already having learned much, he was to interact with humans. He's been going to the camp only for a couple of years.

Jerrel had opened the Panther cage and was attack as he tried to sneak away by the panther, he was saved from being cat food by a large wolflike creature. The panther and wolf fought, the wolf creature won, but he was wound, it turned and walked over to Jerrel, whose stomach had large claw marks on it, but he wasn't going to die. as the werewolf turned to leave some of its own blood had dropped into Jerrel's wound, the Lycan DNA mixing with his own, but the left over panther DNA canceled the wolf DNA.

That night she transformed and lost control, attacking random people. She was ashamed of what had happened to her and refrained from telling her parents, locking herself in her room during the three nights she transforms. But at 14, her parents found out and they sent her to live with her aunt, not being about to handle "a freak for a daughter." Annette's aunt has sent her to the camp this year in hopes it will help the girl come out of her shell and accept her new life.

When one of the maids tried to wake her up, she suddenly killed her and started drinking her blood. After her thirst was satiated, she became horrified of what she had done and ran away to another city. Over the years, she learned to accept. and enjoy her new life. Alecia also learned the truth of other creatures like her, and decided that attending a summer camp with them wouldn't be all too bad.

Up their, the pack lived in secrecy, but was still occasionally hunted or sought out by people who had once seen Snow Demons in their most powerful forms, popularily know as Yetis. The first known Yeti was a Snow Demon who had become so strong that he lost control of his power and became a reckless and savage beast. After this had happened, Snow Demon children were not allowed to transform until they had reached the age of 18, the age where they could concentrate fully and control the beast within. Aiden Yuki had a lot of potential, but was arrogant and thought that he could control the Yeti at the age of 15. He lost control, and attacked the pack. Luckily, the Elders and the Alpha of the pack were able to stop Aiden, but not before he destroyed half of their village. For this, they temporarily banished Aiden Yuki for 5 years. The Yuki clan pleaded with the Elders and the Alpha to cut the banishment in half if Yuki could learn to control the beast on his own. They accepted, but on the condition that if Aiden lost control during his training and hurt anyone, or let the prescence of Snow Demons become known to the human world, he would be executed. Despite the possibility of Death, Aiden Yuki agreed to the conditions, and has been training hard. With months until the contract is lifted, Aiden Yuki hopes that by learning about other nonhuman beings, and training within the strange conditions of the Summer Camp, he can master the Yeti inside him.

Well, the people have spoken, so I suppose I can't really delay any longer. We begin now.

Jim

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod, Jim thought as he sat in the cabin, doors locked up tight. It was only half an hour ago when he had realized where he was, when he had seen those, things, for what they really were. Now he was huddled in a corner in a cabin with the doors and windows barricaded. In retrospect this was a bad idea, because he was trapped, but hopefully it would keep the monsters away. I'mgonnadieI'mgonnadieI'mgonnadie, he thought over and over in his mind.

Sedo

A crowd was around the cabin, those most interested in the human, while some were milling about farther away and those who cared nothing about it out strolling the grounds. Sedo was watching the cabin from afar, wondering slightly what exactly they intended to do with the human and exactly how long he could hole up in the cabin. He'd run in there screaming a little while ago and it seemed for now the majority was content to wait him out.

Vigo

Vigo held an umbrella above his head, keeping him in the shade while the sun shone. He was watching the scene, licking his lips and wondering if the human would come out. Humans were quite the delicacy after all, but it was too dangerous to sample them too often, but no other human would know here.

Jerrel had been sniffing around the outside walls of the cabin for what seemed like forever until he found what he was looking for: a weakened board in the woodwork. Jerrel sat down against the weak piece of wood, hiding it from the view of other monsters. He then pulled out a pen and a pad. He began writing on it, then he tossed it into the cabin through the crack.

Hey, name's Jerrel, you may not want to believe me, but I would like us to be friends. I understand how hard it is to believe that my kind exists, trust me, I was like that before I was turned.

Raven shook her head at all the people surrounding the cabin. She could care less about the human holed up in there. She started towards one of the woods paths. She wanted to get away from all choas.

Annette stood outside the building with a frown on her face. She felt sorry for the human inside. She had once been one and so she was more sympathetic than some of the others.

Alice slid up beside Sedo.

"He's still in there?"

Aphras

The elf Aphras was standing in the large crowd gathered around the cabin where the human resided. Having a human in the camp is a very big mishap, and hopefully, the human would just leave, eventually, Aphras thought smugly to himself. There was eager conservation among the crowd, it seemed.

The people in this camp seemed....odd, of course. There were many different kinds of beings here, each unique in its own way. As far as he was aware of, there was only one other elf at the camp. He was quite eager to meet some of the people here. "This will be fun..," he said to himself while playing with an air ball he had made in his hands.

Jim

Jim nearly screamed as a small piece of paper came in though somewhere. He sat and stared at it, not sure if it was a threat or a curse that would only activate if he read it. He just wanted to be gone, that was all, he didn't want to be here, and if he could he would leave, but all those monsters were out there.

After minutes of staring, Jim couldn't take it and he snatched up the note. Against his better judgement he read it, and began to think. He wasn't ready to believe the note, but that didn't mean he couldn't try to reason with the monsters. He wrote out a message on the other side and slid it through the crack.

I don't trust you, but I don't want to be stuck in here. If I can be safe outside, I'll try to leave this place, and never return, nor make any mention of it to another soul.

Sedo

"Yes, but it's hard to know what he's doing in there," Sedo said, and took her hand in his. "He's probably in the fetal position from the way he was screaming earlier."

Ori hovered over the scene amongst the curious crowd and he saw one of them slip a note in. Ori heard a human had entered the camp, but didn't really know what the fuss was about since he had a human master. Ori floated closer to where the human had locked himself in and slipped himself in through one of the cracks in the wooden boards!

Inside, was a frail human writing on the note the other had given to him.

"Greetings, human boy. I am Ori Onizuka. What is your name?" Ori spoke calmly, not thinking about whether he had startled the boy.

Harry was born a natural, as far as magic goes. His father trained him in most magic, save for Black magic. His father thought it would be a great idea to send him to this...summer thingy...To get to know the variety of supernatural creatures that the Nevernever has to offer....Oh joy.
Other: Keeps a rune staff the regulates his chaotic and overpowered magic, a 'blasting rod' (a wooden stick used to give him finer control over his evocation magic), a shield bracelet (which Dresden has upgraded significantly throughout the series), a silver ring (used to channel blasts of kinetic energy). He also wears a duster jacket and a hat most of the time.
