Endirholm: Countryside

The country outside of the city’s walls is pleasant if a bit windy. There are a few hills to the east, but mostly it is flat and farmed. Agriculture covers much of the plains, but there is also a bit of forest that remains untamed (mostly because of the Green Wizards’ need for some wild lands).
Farmers in Amador often jokingly speak about moving to Endirholm because of how easy the farmers have it there because of all the Wizards, and their stories aren’t far from the truth. Training in the use of the Green Ether often entails strengthening crops and Initiates from the College of Restoration are quick to fix any illnesses among the livestock so they can have some practical training. Red Magicians hunt town carnivores and bandits, Gold Wizards can mend tools and if you need some proper manpower the College of Conjuration can always “make” some for you.
To the West of Endir City, just out from the shore, lies the Wing archipelago. It is a gathering of smaller islands (the only ones in the Sea of Isha except for Avalon) just of the coast that form a wing-shape. Together with the Endirholm peninsula, the two seen from above look like a cloaked shape with wings.

Areas of Notice:
-Sicilen Village: The village is the center of a large complex of wheat and grain fields in southern Endir, a far stretch from the main roads to the capitol. Its buildings are mostly of wood planks, but with stone fundaments and chimneys. The roofs are all tiled and in all the colors of the rainbow. The people of Sicilen is comprised of humans, high elves and wood elves in equal shares, and very open to travelers.

-The Wing Archipelago: Few of the islands are particularly large, many are but big rocky cliffs sticking out of the waters, but most of the fertile ones are inhabited and there are even a few villages out there. The islands are rocky and ill suited for agriculture, so most are cattle and sheep farmers. “Wing-wool” is considered top-notch because of its innate lightness and soft fabric, almost rivaling silk from across the Wastes. Because the islands are rocky and nearly treeless, most structures on the Wing Archipelago are made of rock with thatched or tile roofs.

-Tower of Ravens: It is a massive obelisk of blackest rock, towering out in the middle of a green plain. It’s pentagonal and tall as many of Endir City’s towers, but probably much, much older. All along its height are carvings and gargoyles of ravens and raven-like creatures. No question where the tower got its name, there. The tower has long troubled scholars, for they can find no record or clue as to when it was built and who built it. Still, the most troubling thing about the tower is that it has no doors or windows except at the very top and those black steel doors have proved impregnable.

-Gardens of Bella-Costa: The current leader of the Green Wizards is Arch-Wizard Lyria Bella-Costa, a half-elf who’s the newest of the Arch-Wizards. Despite being the head an Arcane College and a Primary Sitter in the Council of Design, Lyria spends most of her time on the lands she turned into a majestic garden. The Gardens, also known as the Green Maze, are located just to the south-east of the City of Scholars and is a verdant sanctuary for all friends of nature.
